Some friends and I dine here every Wednesday night for Steak night which is fantastic value. For $25 you get a very good sized steak topped with either muchrooms or garlic butter should you choose. You also get fries and a nice salad to go with it.
We always get well looked after by Sky and Shaun who are very friendly and chatty.
Sky does a perfect job of cooking our steaks every week and we all look forward to them!
Highly recommend Wood Brothers to all.

I ordered a surf n turf for dinner tonight. Really impressed by the steak, crisp outside and tender juicy inside. I strongly recommend it.

We had a lovely meal with our teens and their grandparents. Generous portions, burgers were huge, yum dessert! Drinks reasonably priced. Nothing was too much trouble for our waitress. A game of pool kept the boys entertained after dinner. We’ll be back!

We gave them a big challenge with our group of 50 on a Saturday night. Really impressed with how they managed, we had pre-ordered which made it smoother, but still a lot for them to navigate. The venue is great for a large group, we had parents and a large gaggle of teenage cheerleaders.it was ideal. Thanks team!

Went for dinner. Struggled for parking. Very cold inside. Bleak atmosphere with worn furniture and an ageing sports-bar/pokies style pub out the back but in clear view of the restaurant. Pub patrons milling in and out through the restaurant or coming into the restaurant to play pool, loudly, which was disruptive to our meal. I wouldn't call this restaurant family friendly. Photos online aren't recent.

I don't mind eating at humble restaurants as long as the food and service are good. Both were not.

Server was dishevelled and missed items off of our order. Slow service.

Food was average. Menu on Google images completely different - in reality the prices are closer to Lone Star or Goode Brothers but without the ambience or quality in service or food. While the steak was good, all of our other food was bland and tasteless and served on limp, lukewarm chips. Ribs were dry and appeared to have a random sauce thrown over the top. Long wait for food - almost an hour.

It appeared our server was also the chef, which was odd and not great as we were without a server while he was cooking e.g. For drinks or to ask about our meals.

If staff shortages/cover are an issue (as alleged in another poor review) perhaps the restaurant shouldn't open on those days if the quality is thus bad.

Sounds like this place is better at lunch.

Based on the reviews, extremely disappointing experience and a waste of our time and money. I'd recommend going elsewhere. Will not be returning.

Food was great. We ordered a platter for the three of us and despite not having chicken wings (not available), we still left feeling full and satisfied. Great local prices too.

Love the team who work here. They're awesome friendly and always positive and interactive, Nice food and the gaming lounge altho I never win always a good vibe and I have fun.

New owners, food is good and reasonable cost, owner guy is chill. Feels like a kiwi pub with its own vibe. Only time I've ever bothered to recommend anywhere

Had a birthday dinner for my daughter, the food was delicious, fresh and hot and super tasty. The staff were very friendly and had a great sense of humour, we were well looked after. Will gladly dine here again

Family night out. Good menu with something for everyone. Burgers on point and my aunty had the beast of a steak which she could not finish. Kids menu was good. Service was spot on.

Nothing better than a juicy steak after work, and these guys know how to do it! Pub Quiz on a Thursday too which is always a good time, get amongst it!

Awesome food. Went in for breakfast, had the Chicken Waffles, Eggs Benedict and Ribs. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Food is so good, portion sizes are great for the price.
It was a bit empty, which I believe is just a part of the unfortunate location.
We can't wait to go back again, we might even make it a weekly spot.

Fantastic spot, surprised to see it so empty, would definitely come here again, only been once but it did not disappoint.

Feels almost like a small gem, maybe it gets busier during the weekend, but Wednesday night it had almost no one in it.great for an intimate date tho.
