We stayed at Orchard Studio. At first glance the studio looks very nice and tidy. We were greeted with a nice letter from Jill and delicious homemade muffins. Unfortunately, the accommodation is full of passive-aggressive notes about what to do and what not to do. Many of them are self-evident and some are completely absurd (see picture). Overall, it's not very inviting. The breakfast stored in the fridge to prepare yourself was poor. It was strictly portioned in Tupperware containers and was almost used up after one breakfast, even though we had booked for 4 nights. Even the coffee powder was rationed in a Tupperware container and was almost empty after two breakfasts. Last but not least, it became clear that the perfection that one demands from guests (see note) is not taken very seriously. The dining table wobbled, as did the children's high chair, and the bed was small and the mattress was so strange that my husband fell out of bed when he sat on it. The WiFi was really unusable, which is no longer possible these days unless you explicitly book it.

We still give the accommodation 3 stars because Jill personally came across as very friendly, even brought extra toys for our son and everything was very clean.

Lovely looking tidy cottage in the country. Didn't stay here did some work here.
Owner is lovely, had little treats out ready for today's guest when they arrive. Decor was fresh and tidy

This place is more than just an accommodation or B&B. The cottage is stlylish and homey. The friendly owner is helpful and a good company. If you come with family, you definitely won't regret it. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay in the Vintage Room at the B&B Blossom Cottage. Marianne is a fantastic, warm, and helpful host. From the moment we arrived we could tell that this place was special. Marianne had fresh brownies out for our arrival along with a complete binder full of information on activities and restaurants in the area.

Located approximately 15 minutes outside Rotorua, it was the perfect hub for four days of activities in Rotorua and the surrounding area. It was nice being a little bit out of the way to truly enjoy a relaxing stay with beautiful countryside vistas.

The accommodations were lovely and the breakfast was fantastic each morning-I will especially miss Marianne's freshly-made yogurt and organic lemon drink. We loved chatting with and getting to know Marianne and her animals. In addition to meeting her friendly cats, Cloudy and Teddy, we were able to feed her chickens, ducks, bunny, and alpaca with food that Marianne provided.

If we are ever in the area again we will certainly be booking another stay here. Would give it 6 stars if that was an option!

Lovely stay at the Blossom Cottage in the Vintage Room. We were given a warm welcome from Marianne and could not have been better cared for. The accommodations were practical and comfortable, lots of hooks in the rooms to hang your things, a huge comfortable bed with a private bathroom. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. It is in the country which was serene and beautiful. We loved staying here and would highly recommend!

It was so nice and quiet. Only 15 minutes from all the activities, you have a quiet and relaxing little country cottage. It is so cute with plenty of room and lots to do for families with kids. We had farm fresh eggs each morning (our hostess let my daughter gather the eggs from the chicken coop, which was very cool) After spending all day running from one activity to another in Rotorua it was so wonderful to come to our quiet little house and soak in the hot tub! We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Rotorua.

Gorgeous location. If you want to be a little out of town it's perfect. Accommodation is fabulous, very comfy bed, warm and cosy. Shower great! Quiet and peaceful. Recommended!
