Cafe Baraco

A hidden gem on Fairy Springs road. Great and reasonably priced food. The Lamb salad was delicious. The service was top of the line with friendly staff. Food arrived fast at the table. Will definitely be going again.

Bacon was only partly cooked and inedible. Poached eggs were hard poached. Toast was soggy. Would not recommend ever.

Just finished the Baraco Big Breakfast, it was a quick stop on our way through, definitely big enough to cover breakfast and lunch as it did, food was fresh and very tasty, cooked perfectly. Eggs were perfect just the right amount of runny, coffee was very nice too, not burnt and a good temperature. I hate overly hot coffee. Fabulous little place, great service and friendly staff. Well done. I wish I could have sampled more of his menu. Will definitely stop here when ever I am in town.

LOVE THIS COFFEE it's my favorite caffeine fix stop! I always order my coffees from here whether it's just for me or I'm picking up for a few of us. The best brew I've had in Rotorua for ages! The breakfast is delicious too!

A group find on a short trip to Rotorua, a Mediterranean experience lovely Greek lamb salad and my husband had the steak salad, well worth it. Also plenty of parking

Went to Fairy Spring with the intention of getting Fish N Chips so pleased I didn’t and instead went to Cafe Baraco and ordered chicken mushroom fettuccine

Best cafe in rotorua. A steak dinner here is half the price that I would pay at any place in eat street, and is easily the best tasting over all of them. Coffee is reasonably priced and not burnt, smoothies are fresh and really tasty. Slices are consistently delicious. Owner is a really genuine guy, awesome cafe. Gluten free options are available there, my coeliac son ate a brownie and loved it with no reaction whatsoever.

The creamy carbonara was delicious and the meal my husband had was too. I absolutely love the size of the large cup, it is huge! We may go back again

Coffee was strong but a bit bitter. The Baraco Breakfast bacon was well cooked but sausage was a bit small and eggs on uncooked toast. Menu choices were good.

Asked for scone to be toasted but it came nuked on high. Also not a good look (or smell) when staff have been smoking. Great coffee thou.

Very friendly people at this lovely spot, i go here for the nice smile and warm welcoming people.highly recommended to all.

We got the $10 breakfast which was okay and a coffee and hot chocolate which was nice. Good service, it didn't take long for the food to arrive.

When we ordered food there was 1 person working in the whole cafe. About 10 minutes later a second person arrived. We watched them walk in and go straight to the kitchen (which is open and visible from the sitting area) without washing their hands. 5 minutes later they were texting away on their phone and then returned to preparing our food, once again no hand washing. Terrible hygiene! I hope we don’t get sick. Kinda wish we had walked out.

Food is good for a $10 breakfast I got
3 rashes of streaky bacon, 2 eggs,
1 hashbrown, toast, and 1 mini kranski.

Nice coffee.average meal.but proprietor appeared entitled and was very blunt.it was a very awkward and uncomfortable time where i almost felt like i walked into his home unnanounced.would never go back and explains why they are empty at lunchtime.
