Order 2 cups of tea my cup was warm
Not good when it cost $10 60
A bit costly just for 2 cups tea
Food too dear

The waitress was obviously feeling gloomy the day we visited.
I had asked them to hold my coffee til my food came but that request was forgotten. Food was pleasant tho

Waited for over 5 minutes in the afternoon to order 2 cappuccino's but there was no one to assist. Even after ringing the bell, we still weren't assisted. Not one staff member was around. Very disappointing so we left and got cappuccino's at the other coffee shop in the Plaza.

This is a great cafe with good atmosphere and friendly staff. The food I ordered was delicious; a fried chicken and waffles with side of salad. I also ordered an iced mocha which was a dream on a warm day. Would highly recommend if you're in the plaza

Great coffee and a nice Eggs Beni, although a bit mean on the bacon, would have got 5 stars if the meal was better value but was very tasty. Nice staff and the food and drinks came quickly

Good selection of cakes, always like their cream donuts. Cabinet food, good and varied. Coffee nice

Love the Double Teaspoon. It's has a cozy atmosphere, yummy good, fabulous coffee and hot drinks. Great customer service.

Stopped in for a coffee and noticed the owner/manager treating one of their staff very rudely! Saw the worker was noticeably upset and she didn’t care that there were customers right there either. Didn’t bother ordering a coffee after I witnessed that and definitely will never be returning!

Been frequenting double teaspoons since relocating to Papamoa several months ago. Staff are very friendly and personal & only after several visits, they knew my name and preferred coffee, which is great service. They have wonderful loyalty card program and I must say as a doughnut connoisseur, their salted caramel doughnut is seriously the best I have tasted!

Not your usual "mall cafe" and with so many options nowadays, would highly recommend Double Teaspoons for your daily weekly coffee [ or tea ] "hit" topped by wonderful staff

I had the Giant sausage roll from the cabinet and it was very nice I had a long black coffee which was excellent

Love this cafe so much - they have an seating area outside so they don't discriminate against anyone. They sell the most amazing salted caramel donuts and my favourite lolly cake recipe I've had anywhere. Great selection of teas also. I come here once a week at least

They seem to cycle out trial shift workers to avoid having to pay them - then complain they're understaffed. No wonder. They expect new workers to know what they're doing with no training. They're disrespectful and the hygiene behind the counter leaves a lot to be desired.

Unfortunately as you can see with latest photo quality of food and presentation has noticeably fallen sitting in water and no butter, yet prices have increased.
Also I had to ask if they would like to view my vax certificate.

Git told it was a half hour wait ended up waiting for 50 minutes for over cooked steak disappointed!

French toast was so dry I couldn't finish it. Bacon had the taste of other food on it, so badly I couldn't eat it. Poor presentation too. We collected our own coffees as they were sitting there with no staff bringing it to us. Staff weren't very friendly, but maybe short staffed? I've had cabinet food in the past and was good. All over priced for what you get though. Medium coffee also over priced over $5

Coffee tasted burnt and our breakfast was very disappointed and tasteless. Especially inside of the kitchen looks disgusting. Not recommended at all!

Excellent coffee, food and atmosphere. Owners and staff are exceptional, they're friendly and helpful. Love this cafe

It was Easter and yet we didn't appear to have a surcharge applied. Coffee and food was great especially their doughnuts. YUM!
