Esquires Coffee / Gloria Jean's Café - Bayfair

Apart from great coffee, the service is tops. I only go there once a week and despite hundreds of customers through the week, I’m greeted by name and they know my order (which is just an Americano, nothing unique).
Such customer service is really special.

I stopped for a takeaway coffee, saw something on the menu I hadn't see before, asked what it was and was given such a condescending and rude reply. Was totally taken aback by the tone of the response as I feel I had been friendly in my approach. Haven't been made to feel like that in a long time. Was a disappointing experience.

Such a nice place to stop for a coffee or lunch whilst shopping. Their mocha is delicious. Much better than many places. And the scones are a great size and with TWO pats of butter.

Good customer service for making me ginger lime tea and it was quick.

Nice food, good coffee and service with a smile. This coffee shop is in Bayfair Shopping center so sitting in a small area.

On the last day of 2022 we really enjoyed some lovely flavoured coffee & a Hawiian pin?
The food too had a beautiful taste with hot coffee served in a "real sized" large takeaway cup with smiley efficient service. Bayfair is lucky to have you! Highly recommend

Gary is an absolute gem and such a nice guy! The espresso chillers are the absolute best and they do the nicest spinach rolls in the world - the team here are always so lovely, efficient and friendly. My favourite place to come for coffee by far!

Customer service has slipped here, maybe its due to covid etc but you used to get friendly service and a smile with your coffee and slice but now it's like you are a burden for spending money there, appreciate its hard times but a smile goes a long way in customer servive

I've come to this establishment a few times now and it has been busy so each time a bit of a wait for the coffee.
The food was a hit and miss.
I ordered a chocolate mud cake muffin and that was a miss. It tasted like a box version from supermarkets. So i was very dissapointed.
On the other hand, the lemon bread i had, perfect the casing was full of syrup, the flavour mild but amazing, and evenly distributed through the whole casing. Really yum.
Dont miss out on that.
Sorry i dont know what the lemon bread is called but i would definitely buy that one again.
The coffee, it was okay. Cant complain as im still drinking it, its just okay.

Esqires Cafe Bayfair mall. Has always been consistent in their presentation and service. Also the coffee comes out hot and with a smile. Try their North Island cheese rolls. Yummy.

If you need coffee while you're at Bayfair, Esquires make the best, especially if you are on the go and need that takeaway. I have been buying my coffee from there for at least 5 years and have NEVER had a bad one. Well done you guys!
