House of Spice Indian Restaurant reviews
41Flew in from Oz and was really hankering for a good curry. This place did not disappoint. Butter chicken was awesome, Rogan Josh and Chicken Bhuna Ghost we both very tasty. Naan breads were perfect. Would definitely recommend.
Great food and All staff are so nice.service is Superb. Staff name Karan very nice. His service is great. All staff are nice. Food is yummy
The food and drinks were a mimic of Indian food.should improve quality of food and drinks both AND THE NAAN HAD HAIR.
Amazing food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely 5 stars, a really enjoyable night for our group. The entrée platter was much larger than expected and came with a great mixture of foods and accompaniments. Excellent mango lassi, ,
The was the very best Indian restaurant for takeaway or eat in. Always got Mild-medium Curry with a nan and rice and a mango chicken. Lately though the flavour has just gone from everything, 3 times in a row now so had to lower rating, disappointed to say the least. I did inform them and got offered a free replacement which never happened had to pay oh well.
On the up side the staff are super friendly.
This restaurant is awesome. I really liked the food it was very delicious. I have tried soya chaap and Manchurian and also I tried paneer methi malai and palak paneer, which is delicious then all of t
he restaurants in Tauranga.
The staff is really nice and I also met chefs and praise them for their cooking skills.
I would love to visit their again and suggest all of known to visit and try their food.
Beautiful butter chicken so tasty and fresh and I've tried many Indian places and the butter chicken is amazing. Highly recommend
We had our meal delivered. We ordered mild as we were unsure of their level of spice used. The whole meal was unsatisfactory. There was nooo taste to the chicken korma i had, like no taste and the garlic naan had no garlic taste and was very plain. Did not eat the rest of our dinner. If i could rate less than 1 star i would have. Very dissapointing results.
We took chicken biryani and veg fries rice it's Soo yummy and their customer service is also really good.
Worst indian ive ever had.
1 star but thats only because i couldnt go lower. Burnt garlic naan that didnt even have a garlic taste what so ever, zero spice or flavours with the mango chicken, never again.
Was definitely no house of spice.
This is a 1 star rating but I can't post it. We loved your food when you first opened and recommend you to everyone as it was so delicious and the best in Tauranga! Unfortunately the last 12 months we have been highly disappointed! Changed chefs is obvious. The food is bland and flavourless and highly disappointing
Order food and received empty container, curry was in back as they havnt put the lid on properly. Called them and at 9 45pm they want me to call the uber when everything was closed. This was the 3rd time from Same restaurant had happened. It was dripping through the bag and steined the carpet.
Tidy restaurant and (delicious) well-cooked food over several visits. The curry dishes seem to be on the mild side given the spice level, but I don't mind personally. The Butter Chicken has a hearty pumpkin spin (at least when compared with a similar local restaurant), which was quite interesting.
This food was so disappointing. Expensive, high delivery fees and my son's comment was that the butter chicken tasted like pumpkin soup. Very disappointing. Won't go there again.
Had a takeaway last night, meat was tough looked like frozen, tasteless not near the Indian Food rang them to give them feedback.they were too rude to have the feedback, Don't know how to talk to the customer.it has happened 2nd time.thats the reason it is empty all the time and they offer so cheap food. Good bye this useless place.
We ordered for the first time at this restaurant using Uber eats great service and lovely tasty food, my customers highly recommended this restaurant, from the kiwibarber
Had Dinner Last Week. Food was Delicious. Great Customer Service. Would Definitely Recommend this Place.
This is the first time we have visited House of Spice Fraser Cove and i highly recommend. What a find, enjoyed a delicious lunch of Chicken Tikka Marsala, husband had a lamb with lentils saying melt in your mouth and spiced just right for him. Will return most definitely
Starter was amazing as was the lassi.
The mains were ok but seemed lacking in flavour. Service was fine.
Great presentation of food, best place for party and gathering.
Manager is super friendly.
