Island View Holiday Park

This place is the most amazing place to stay. The location is perfect so close to beach. The facility’s and hosts are beautiful. The kitchen has granite bench and plenty of cooking stations so clean and spotless. Check out the ladies bathroom it is wow very wow. They do great coffee and so friendly well travelled host Lawn n his beautiful partner. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend AAA+

This is a good campsite. Rustic, welcoming, and nice facilities.
The pool is small but covered with a sail and great for kids, and they have a games room for when the weather is not so great. Beach is a bit rough with lots of driftwood, but don't let that put you off. Only negative for me was that I wished they had more things in their shop. Other than that, we had a great holiday there, despite the weather!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! Our 5th stay this summer and as always amazing. Love the staff and facilities. Such helpful staff and owners. Nothing is ever a problem. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

A fantastic camp with Balinese tropical surroundings, including a astro tennis court, volleyball ground, swimming pool with sun loungers, kayaks, great showers and toilet facilities with a brand new wifi laundry room. Weber bbq's available with a great kitchen. Thanks Team.

Had such a lovely camping holiday staying beach front in this great little campsite. Tropical vibes from the planting and kids just went from beach to pool. Lovely.

The best kept secret! We love Island View. The campground is so well thought out, the facilities are great, you can definitely feel like you're in Bali! There's plenty of activities and it's not too far from Whakatane for a day trip. The staff are helpful and the cafe has great coffee and icecream for those hot days. Oh and the beach is stunning!

Fantastic holiday park with excellent amenities. Situated right on the beach and has a pool and tennis court with free equipment. We were allowed to have the dog there which is great.

Wonderful experience, friendly staff. Beautiful clean amenities. Well looked after by hosts. No hesitation about staying again.

Stayed overnight here recently. We had a group booking. The room was spacious. Facilities provided in the room included tea, coffee & a small milk.

A large Fridge freezer in the room for supplies was appreciated. The jug needed a good clean before use, but we didn’t need it for our stay. TV & wifi was ok. Aircons in the room was great.

The bathroom area was cleaned in the morning, otherwise a quick clean was given in the bathroom area when we arrived. Towels were provided in the rooms.

This is an adequate place to stay temporarily or overnight, enough space for families of 2x adults & 2 kids in the cabin. 1x double bed & 2 singles.

We have been coming to Island View for many years now. First it was tenting with the kids, now its caravanning with just my husband and I. We love it! The beach is lovely and the vibe in the camp is friendly and relaxed. We have just had Anzac weekend there and took the dog this time. Quiet and great weather. Love the balanese bathroom. Fabulous spot right on a Sandy Beach. Perfect "Get away" place to go. The town of Opotiki is only 6km away for shopping. I'll be back for sure.

This is a quirky but lovely camp. Facilities are spotless. Sites are generous. One of our favourite campgrounds, well worth a visit.

We are seasoned campers and this is NZ camping at its best. The facilities are far better than any other campsite in NZ, in our opinion, the staff are amazingly helpful, fun and accommodating and the location is outstanding. We were there at the peak of the holiday season and the camp was run like clockwork.

Awesome campground. Facilities were clean and sufficient. Lorne is an absolute character and enjoyed talking with him! Laughed a lot! Great security and free WIFI. Met some other very friendly regular campers. Felt very welcome and super relaxed! Thanks team!

Great facilites, free kayaks, swimming pool and wifi. The staff went above and beyond to help us when our air bed broke. Super tecommend!
