New ownership isnt running this ship the way it used to. Food is very average. Deserts arent really desert and way less seafood options. The customer service however is hreat

The food use to be always very good value tasty good variety but we were somewhat disappointed by what was there this time we visited. Deserts were not up to the standard that we have had in the past the batter on the chicken was over cooked. We last went there before it changed ownership an have noticed the drop in standard that use to be very good. My husband an brother were both disappointed as was I.

Highly recommend Kwangchow! Meal was delicious and staff were friendly. Will definitely be coming back next time we are in Rotorua

I hate to be so negative and blunt but this was the worst Chinese I've ever had. It seems to be made very cheaply. I wonder if the staff would dare to eat the food, I'm guessing not. Would never go back.

Yummy! Always a good bargin here. Ate here with our 4 young children for less than 80 very good for all you can eat! Kids loved it

Had family gathering there, self service, their food was fresh, tasty, staff really helpful.returned few times since then same service

Its usually a nice takeaway spot but the chicken dish and blackbean dish was overloaded with cauliflower.

Yes i must say got there be4 closing and they aloud us 2order.in doing that they made anorher sale.food i picked very good.

Paid $15 for the lunch buffet.raw chicken, stale rice and snotty eggfooyong then was charged an extra $12 afterwards because i refused to eat it? I have never heard of a "policy" where you get punished because you dont eat what you already paid for? Absolutely rubbish!

I can't quite give it five stars. The food is good but not excellent. The prices fair but not cheap. Service comes with a smile and the place looks very clean. It's our local Chinese smorgasbord so we use it every so often. I suspect the others in town, especially the one on Malfroy Rd will edge this one out for the best Chinese smorgasbord in Rotorua.

Terrible food. Sorry I don't like writing bad reviews but the food really didn't taste good. It didn't taste like Chinese food. The noodles tasted like cabbage in cabbage juice and same with the rice.
I hope the food improves but I won't be back.
I ended up just throwing food away.

I only pushed 1 star cos there's no negative star! The food was cold and tasteless and the chicken wings were still bleeding! It's definitely not the same Kwangchow that had beautiful food several years ago!

A great all you can eat buffet, catered to our large group no problems. The food was well presented, fresh and topped up quickly. The staff were quick to clear empty plates and answer any questions. Definitely a great place to go for a value meal out.

Lunch wasn't that great.but dinner is great got so many more choice for tea as well as prawns and mussels.well worth the $21

Excellent kiwi style Chinese and deep fry. Food for all ages. Came here to dine in with two adults and four kids from 1 to 13 and all left very full. A great meal with a wide selection of food. I couldn’t ask for a better Chinese smorgasbord.

Had beef stir fry noodles and fried rice it tasted like it had dishwashing liquid or disinfectant I had to take the mealback and they didn't even give me half of what I paid was absolutely gross
