We were originally hesitant about getting a videographer when we were planning our wedding however, after chatting with Jarod we decided to go ahead.

I'm so glad we did as the whole day went by so quickly I can't remember all the small details.

On the day Jarod had a lot of fun ideas, made everything nice and easy, and was a joy to have with us.

We got videos of the ceremony, speeches, and a video of the whole day. Everything came out absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

We first got in touch with Jarod to film our wedding video in June 2021 for our wedding in April 2022. However, due to border restrictions, we had to postpone our wedding to Jan 2023 and he was so understanding of this. From the onset, he was so easy to communicate with (both email and calls). Our wedding happened during the first Auckland flooding on Anniversary weekend. The weather was chaos but Jarod was so calm and reassured us that we will be able to still get some gorgeous shots. He was so easy to work with and was really able to put everyone at ease. He skills were so great that when we got our video back, there were parts that we didn't even realise he was able to capture!

Jarod was able to capture our emotions perfectly and we cried (AGAIN) when we watched our video for the first time lol. We are so blown away by his work and we are incredibly grateful to have had the honour of him capturing our beautiful day! We highly recommend Jarod as your wedding videographer, you will not be disappointed! Jarod is amazingly talented and to top that off, he is such a pleasure to work with. I got in touch with Jarod a few months before my wedding after I had two previous videographers pull out on me. Jarod was amazing, and really on to it. I appreciated this so much as I had so much on my plate as it was. Jarod was extremely professional but also super friendly at the same time he made the process such a breeze. He went out of his way for us and even arrived a day before the wedding to meet and chat, and attend the rehersal so he had a plan in place. I instantly felt at ease, as he had it all under control. The day of the wedding he was AWESOME, and had some cool ideas for shots and we just felt so comfortable. I tried not to message to much after the wedding (obviously super excited about the video) and everytime I did, he reassured me it was coming and that it looked great! When the day did come for the video reveal - OH MY GOD. It was like watching a mini movie. Exceeded all expectations and was absolutely incrediable. Jarod is SO talented and worth every penny. I highly recommend this guy! Top-tier.

Full disclosure - Jarod is my brother. But he did our wedding video and we were blown away with what he delivered. I'm so glad we have a video memory of the day, and all the speeches which we've rewatched many times. It was one of the first weddings he ever filmed and it's great that he's gone on to make a career out it!

Jarod produced the most beautiful video for our daughter's wedding recently. We got married in April and had the wonderful Jarod from Mason Media film our special day. We are beyond thrilled with the results!
We got the package that had 2 shooters, and we got a 10 minute best bits clip, the ceremony and we added on to get the speeches.
The day stared with us getting ready we had one person with the men and one with us ladies at the venue getting some behind the scenes moments. They were super professional and got some lovely footage of sweet, tender moments.
We then skip to the ceremony where they captured the moment of seeing eachother for the first time. The vows, reactions, tears and laughs were all caught and brought together with our song and words.
Then we had our bridal party photoshoot, leading into the reception and dancing. The team did the most amazing job of marring all aspects of our day.
Overall, we are so beyond amazed with these videos. We have watched them a million times now and they still brings tears to our eyes. It is our dream day captured so perfectly. We are so impressed with the service and the way these have been created. I personally, really love the way the cheeky and fun was captured and mixed in with the love and promises. The way it showcases our day and all the people who surround us. We are so impressed with the way the party meets the ceremony. I highly recommend using Mason Media for all your events.

My husband and I had Jarod do our wedding video, and we are so stoked! Jarod was SUPER easy to work with throughout the whole process, the actual day went by so quickly, and having this video to look back on transported us right back to the day. We used Mason Media to video record a memorial service for my late father. It was beyond our expectations, a very polished finish product indeed. Jarod used drones to get beautiful shots of the chapel & the congregation on arrival creating a perfect lead in to the service itself. On the day, he was extremely professional, personable and discreet, setting up and pre testing with the least of fuss. The sound recording and picture quality were excellent, but his editing skills truely made the end film a standout. He captured the essence of the day so well, with angles and still shots I did not even note were being done at the time. The finished video was edited and supplied to us in very quick time. Overall, a really faultless service and a quality video we are so pleased with. Highly recommended.
