Mum's Dumplings

Unassuming little place but oh my goodness the chicken dumplings were an absolute delight. Lovely man that served us and we will definitely be back in a few weeks but this time will double the dumpling order. Thank you so much. Lunch was.

I work close by and will often come in for the chicken steamed dumplings and steamed pork bun. The man who serves me is always so friendly and welcoming. Love having a chat with him. Food comes fast and is always delicious and fresh.

Love this place! I always get the bimimbap and it's always great. The staff are always super friendly and the food always fresh tasting.

Our first time ever trying this place and it was by far my absolute fav! Staff are super friendly, would definitely recommend if you’re passing through or spending a few nights in town. 100% coming back when we visit next

Dumpling soup, teriyaki chicken rice and Mapa tofu rice. Food was freshly cooked so very taste and had generous portion. Recommended! (No side dishes)

Great service! Food came out pretty fast which was awesome, dumplings were soo big and delicious. I had the Beef Bulgogi as well and the flavours were fantastic. They even opened early for us as we were lurking at the menu before opening hours. We went for dine in 100% recommend if your in the area

This is a OMg place on the Mt. An understated family run business. The after taste of those tasty dumplings stayed with me for hours. All handmade on the spot. Mums in the kitchen, Dads on the till. Their Son is friendly and engaging introduced me to a new Korean Beer. This is the place for your Dumpling fix or new addiction.

Absolutely stunning. The food was delicious and the waiter we had was hilarious and so good at what he was doing. HIGHLY recommended ️

Mapo tofu was a bit soupy but the flavor was great. Didn't get any dumplings but they looked pretty good

I ordered bibimbap. The portion was unfortunately disappointing. I ordered the bibimbap with vegetables and beef and the amount of beef I got was just sad. That is overpriced for the amount of meat you get.

Food quality was very good and service pleasant but there was confusion over our order and mistake was made as was presumably, the charging us $6 per can of softdrink!

Delicious and spicy fried kimchi dumplings and super tasty and savoury mapo tofu with veges and rice. I'd like to try their prawn and their pork dumplings next time. Super friendly man taking orders and didn't wait long at all. Also tried the makgeoli rice wine which is delicious and goes well with the food.

Very nice food.very authentic! Sadly they closed early by one hour tonight. We not allowed to order more. But they still got my 5 Star review.

사장님 is nice and friendly. Jajangmyeon, Japchae Noodle with rice, Kimchi Mandu are my favorite. Delicious and authentic Korean food.

Deep fried dumplings are cheap and amazing! I wouldn’t get them anywhere else. Friendly staff too.

My two daughters and I had lunch at Mum's Dumplings today and I can't stop thinking about how awesome it was. The dumplings were the closest to those that I've had in China.the pastry was tender, the fillings were delicious and the price was right! We loved the stories the gentleman/proprietor shared about the dishes, which added to their authenticity. We will definitely return.every time we go to The Mount!

Best dumplings in Mount Maunganui, been coming here for years very authentic Korean food the dumplings are fantastic and 8 for $10 is a bargain, cold beers in the fridge too.

Definitely an amazing place to eat, had 4 dishes and ate & love all the dishes served, the chef who made them were soooo helpful too. Lovely cheerful staff too. So glad I came here.

The order was wrong, there were raw shrimp in the dumplings, and flavourless noodles. 2 stars is generous.
