I don't know if they are in this station but their names were Peter and Trissy. I came to Rotorua for holiday on 20th august. I was dragging my suitcase to the bus stop, which was about 20 minutes away from the airport. I was heading in the opposite direction to them but they pulled up the car and offered me a ride. They gave me a ride all the way to my hotel. They really made my day. Thanks again

Receptionists are extremely rude and unhelpful. They're on a comfortable government job and don't care.

The most condescending and unhelpful reception staff! This is where our taxes are going-employing toxic people like that? People come here in need of help and instead are harmed again- and from the looks of this review section nothing is being done to change it. This is so corrupt.

Lady at the front desk is rude and VERY brush off ish. She doesn't know what she's talking about and kept telling me "I don't know, I don't know" in a manner that seemed as if she just wanted me to leave. The only reason I went to the Police station was for something really important to me. She made my experience difficult, further making the situation I'm currently going through difficult! Police are there to help people, if I can't even get to that point because of the front desk, then what the hell is she there for? !

They do a great job but only get three stars because every time you need to see someone the front counter is always under staffed.lovely lady but way to old and slow for front counter job.

A couple of months ago I was the victim of a hit and run car accident, whereby a car hit me and subsequently sped off. I reported this immediately to police and was told that an officer would visit me to assess the damage and explain next steps. After two weeks I still hadn't heard from them, so I contacted them. After 4 weeks I contacted them again, still nothing. After 6 weeks I put in an official complaint. Two months after the incident an officer shows up at my house to apologise, apparently they had 'forgotten' about it. The person who caused the accident got off scott-free, I'm several 1,000 dollars out of pocket, and no justice has been done at all. I hope you'll never get involved in an accident like this in Rotorua, the cops don't seem to care (unless weapons are involved or people got injured/killed), basically you're on your own!

The receptionists ‘Leigh’ and ‘Lyn’ were extremly rude - probably isn’t their real names anyway. This was on the 15th of Jan 2019 Tuesday noon, and the two old ladies (blonde without glasses and whitish hair with glasses) were extremply rude, spoke words that were offensively racist and refuse to solve a simple solution. They had no idea what they were talking about. I even had to wait 15 minutes at the counter initially without being served until a customer came in and lined up behind me, when they decided to come out hahaha. Honestly, what a disappointment this great place’s first line of help is serviced by such rude, selfish ladies. All my interactions with the police officers were so positive, it’s a shame that Rotorua Police station’s reputation is still lowered by these unfortunate receptionists. Better trainings on the receptionists will most likely to lift the game up. What a shame both to the community and the Police Station.
