Punjab Express

Was hungry, me and my friend chose to go there (Cameron road, Punjab express) on sunday evening, 3rd December. Ordered 10 samosas. Used to get very tasty and delicious samosas before. But this time the samosas were burned, looks like they were fried more than three times or more. They were not really fresh. Really disappointed with the food that we got. Got some pictures and videos as a proof to show.

Too much oil in food. They force customers to speak Hindi even if you don’t known the language.

Ordered food online. Arrived 15 minutes later to collect food server was talking about social matters to another person. It wasn’t until the conversation had finished that the server asked me what I needed I told him I am here to pick up my order. The server said that will be 5 minutes I will start to get it ready. That would make it 20-25 minutes since I had originally ordered my food. Worst customer service.

Oh my god, what an absolute STATE. The restaurant packaged our order HORRIBLY. Spilt all throughout the bag, dripping from the bag and all over our doorstep, completely lost the gravy from one of our butter chicken orders. Delivery driver called and told us he asked them to repackage because it was such a state and they said no and they didn’t care! They have absolutely not care for the presentation, their customers or their reputation. Doubt we’ll ever recommend this place to anyone, save yourself and go somewhere else!

Very good noodle burger that I never got anywhere in Nz fully recommend and was only $8.

One of the nicest guy with best service skills. He told me he’s the one who started the noodle burger idea. And to people who give review (worst food, too oily, place not clean) this is exactly what Punjabi food. If you’s r to concern about these things just don’t go there. Made a booking for sky city $95 dinner. Let em do the work they doing.

Poor food quality
Ordered 2 channe baturye, received only 1 container of channe, upcon calling them they said “we putt both order’s channe in same container?

One of the worst place to go. They don’t know how to deal with customer. We have order 3 Chana samosa but there was hair and paper in samosa even I ask what wrong with food but they have no idea can’t give proper explanation Still they were not ready to refund my money so i don’t recommend other people to go there. They should give more attention towards cleaning of thier place it so dirty place. So cheap people man

Worst food ever. Got Aloo gobi which was drenched in oil and had more potatoes than cauliflower. Also got a chicken biryani which had cumin seeds and tasted really bad. The roti was burnt from one side and overall just an awful experience.

They should know what’s the customer priority. Even place was not clean there was mess everywhere. Today I went there with my friends they served me with paper and hair on chana samosa I asked what’s wrong with food they were not able to give proper explanation about it. I saw they have cooked our food in same pan but they were not ready to admit it also they haven’t refund our money also the way they talk with us was really rude

Worst place to eat. Staff is rude as hell. Their food service is very bad and poor presentation.

Service was very bad. The lady who works there was doing-overacting. I asked for a empty plate she gave me dirt and broken one. And she said have this plate and enjoy your food. I didn’t able to eat that food and feel so disappointed. I would never recommend this restaurant again.

Expensive and came with a sma round container of rice was barely enough for half the meal. Had to cook my own rice from home to finish rest. Disappointng for what you pay.

Came from Auckland, had a fantastic breakfast with tea. Superb customer service, feel like home. 100 percent recommended.see you next time guys.good on you.cheers

Worst worst worst place.we came from Auckland to stay for one night in tauranga to celebrate my son's bday.we ordered food from them thinking it's the same novelty like we have one in Auckland.its there another branch.the food was yuckkkk.we had to throw everything in the bin.we ordered their special goat curry it was off felt like sand in there.we ordered 2 serving of dahi bhalla and was given only 1 and they packed it with the hot food so when I thought to have dahi bhalla I didn't even feel like opening it.it felt like somebody packed vomit in it.omg what a terrible experience and a waste of money.stop ripping off customers. I would have given them zero star but there's no option

Best place in Tauranga the Nan bread was 100% the best chicken korma I've ever had in Tauranga.definitely a must on a cold night.

Worst food ever never ever going to order from Punjab Express hopeless biryani and gobi pharata

This place is turning out to be worst Indian eatery in Tauranga. I ordered aaloo tikki for take away and what do I get, box full of yoghurt with tikki's completely submerged in it. Just had one spoon and threw it in bin. Please hire a full time cook.

1 star only because system does not allow 0 star. The old guy at the counter was rude. The Pani puri tasted horrible. But credit where credit is due, the sweets were very tasty. Would never go back there.
