Pacifica Home & Garden Store reviews
64Nice long black in the café. But weekend staff need more tree and/or stock knowledge. Bought a banksia tree that two staff said they "did not have in stock"!
An awesome cafe with so much choice suitable for gluten free too!
Scones were a hot with our group.
Visited with a large group and they handled us well.
Such a beautiful place to have coffee and a look around. So many beautiful plants. All the staff here are so pleasant and friendly. We’ll be back soon!
Gosh what a delightful Nursery.
So inviting. The cafe is wonderful.
The staff are bubbly very helpful.
Plenty of parking.
Can’t wait to go back.
Highly recommended.
Good service and quick to deliver food.please put the fish out of their misery that have abnormal growths out their heads.seems so cruel
Normally good with lovely scones. Went again today and a young girl served me at the counter. No good morning. How can I help you. She stood there and said: What do you want. I just stood there and said: You will need more in service training. I turned around and walked out. Hope the managers well talk to the blond girl about this.
Unhelpful inside staff. One lady finally asked if we needed help and when I described what kind of vase what we were looking for, she just smiled and didn’t offer to help find one. Then we spent half an hour arranging various faux flowers into a specific empty vase we found and were then told the vase wasn’t for sale. Maybe indicate that? We literally spent an hour here and ended up walking out empty handed. Oh well, your loss of $150+
Lovely spot for a coffee and snack in the garden. Then you can walk round the large garden area finding plants to buy. Inside the shop has an array of home goods and gifts.
Clean and tidy coffee was nice taste cakes weren't the cheapest, for the staff on tables took a while to clear
Absolutely fabulous food. We were all so impressed with the menu and cabinet yummiest. Coffee was great too. Awesome service. We wandered around the garden centre and bought pressies from the gift shop. Highly recommended!
The food here is amazing but it is a bit expensive but totally worth it and the atmosphere is very welcoming
Great garden center and unique shop with lots of different products. The cafe had a good range if food and coffee was great. The meals are quite large for brunch.
Had a delicious coffee here today with the fab almond breeze milk. We wanted to have lunch from the cabinet, but most items were $15+ which was just too pricey for a whole family to eat. Ended up with cake and some eggs on toast which were $13. All was tasty and the atmosphere was pleasant on a rainy afternoon.
Pros:
1. Lovely setting.
2. Staff were very lovely.
3. Puppy/dog friendly.
4. Relaxing ambience.
5. Cakes and treats have a fantastic display aesthetic.
Cons:
1. $14 for a croissant with ham and cheese? Really not ideal or in line with most places. Quite outrageous actually. That’s some serious markup.
2. I repeat- $14 for a ham and cheese croissant.
We have visited Pacifica for brunch several times and historically find it can be a bit hit or miss. However, over the last couple of months we’ve been 3 times and it hasn’t failed to deliver. So much so, that today’s offering deserved a 5 star review. The Favourite Husband had his usual big breakkie plus an extra egg. He declared it “eggcellant” (insert Dad joke emoji here) although the cheap pre-cooked sausages could be improved. I’m not sure why cafes hold back and try to save on sausages. Go to the butchers and get something that an animal actually died for, for the love of God. Anyhow. It was still good. I had the mushrooms with feta whip and bacon on the side. Oh, and pesto. A fiery, garlicky, delight of a red pesto. I’d have preferred the feta whip on the side not on the ciabatta. Purely because I gift the bread to my Favourite Husband so had to try to scrape it off first. Coffees were great. Worth mentioning, super fast service and the order was accurate. Not as frequent as you would think. Big thumbs up Pacifica.
Bad service, they forgot our cutlery, not to cheerful either. But the food was alr, and atleast the garden was nice
Very delicious eggs Benedict. Even better when substituting sour dough for kumara mash! Coffee was perfect and Snickers slice is an absolute decadence! Pricing is very competitive. Definite high recommend
Beautiful food Alfred's coffee yummy the best. Garden centre well laid out great selection and plant's maintained to very high standard
Very nice and obviously popular cafe. Busy the weekend I called. Not a long wait though, very efficient staff.
Very helpful staff in garden centre. Well displayed plants, inviting inspection. Good looking healthy selection. A wide range in a mid sized centre. Fresh looking garden centre.
