Enjoyed hoisin pulled pork bun which was delicious and would definately order again. Great friendly service. Coffee excellent and prices.

Coffee was ok, lunch was bad and very expensive for what we paid.
$19 Thai beef salad was more like few rocket leaves with over cooked cheap meat topped up with sweet chili dressing on top. They should called it beef salad fusion rather thai beef salad that bring down the true thai salad reputation.
Chicken burgers and frittata were small and lack of taste.
We wont be back.

Enjoyed my home made chicken pie with spinach n garlic. Very tasty! And my coffee too. Staff were friendly n welcoming. Relaxing atmosphere. ThNkyou SequoiA!

Seems like a solids cafe/eatery. Simple but nice. Had some good vegetarian options. I’ve only had one meal here - lunch. I had the vegetarian nachos, which were yum. Lacking in vegan options.

What we had was delicious. They do a decent Chai Latte! (Some cafés are very bland and it can taste more like warm milk). The girls were lovely servers too.

Friendly staff, quick service, and a nice range of choices for brunch. Inside and outdoor seating, play area for the young ones, and generally a great feel. With many other choices available, worth to have this place near the top of your list

Absolutely excellent food. Many vegetarian, gluten, and dairy free options. Vegan was a bit harder to decipher but there were a few good options. I had the sequoia granola and it was absolutely wonderful. The nuts combined with the raspberry and coconut yogurt was an amazing combination that was sophisticated and flavorful. My girlfriend loved the coffee (she’s a better judge of coffee than I am). She had the açaí bowl and loved it. I also had the berry slice which was very chocolaty but also great and vegan to boot. The atmosphere was so-so and it could use a little tidying up if I’m completely honest, but the food was on point and that’s what really matters to me.

Food really needed improvement. Service and atmosphere was fine. Pancakes and French toast were way too sweat. Acai bowl was just liquid and poorly presented with just some banana and minimal granola. Ended up not eating the food.

Really great food and delicious coffee! The eggs Benedict is mustard forward which is really tasty (if you like it that way)! The bacon was cooked beautifully and our Americano and Chai coffees were smooth. There is plenty of seating and WiFi is free.

As a visitor to Rotorua for a week, this was my favourite cafe, and as a bonus, it was next to the mountain bike trails. Great coffee and food and even very pleasant music!

Nice cafe & food with outside sitting area located near Redwoods. Some BBQ tables in need of repair and all could do with a paint, perhaps some bright colours. If mobility impaired getting legs over cross piece is difficult. Suggest regular tables and chairs which would appeal to a wider range of clientele.

Great cafe within walking distance of the entrance to the redwoods tree walk. Service was good, was able to sit outside in the glorious sunshine. Is pet friendly with bowls around for your fur babies, and the food was wonderful. Highly recommend the garlic mushrooms - yummm!

A friendly Cafe when going to Rotorua. Good coffee and small but tasty cabinet food. Just right for morning tea.

Beautiful food and service.
Only downside was i left my handbag on the chair for 5mins tops, an went back and it was gone. Everyone was oblivious to this. Considering we were the only ones eating in the cubby area across from where you order.
I was just brushed off with a sorry. Didnt even care.
Wouldve been nice if the staff were asked especially the one who packed our dishes away.

Great food and service with a smile every time. Lovely tranquil setting to eat and relax with friends amd family. You wont be disappiinted. Give it a go.
