Brought a Oppo A78 8/10/23 @$499 from Rotorua Central Store the service by the old guy was absolutely terrible. Showed no customer service or any details specs etc about the phone and couldn't be bothered to take it out of the box so I could see the color green. Another lady also was denied of info to the same phone while I was there she ended up asking me what the ram gb etc again lack of customer service to the store and may have been a sale but she walked out went to noel lemmings. Asked about the bonus speaker that came this purchase tells me it's expired yet tbe poster hung on the wall displaying free speaker with purchase of the A78. So missed out on that deal cause of s lazy carnt be bothered store attendant. Terrible service 4 Shop Keepers and no people no excuse for this.

Friendly but missed out on the sale so we went to Noel Leamings and they gave us a better deal

I enjoy the service at Smith city we always get what we want helpful and efficient by all the staff William and a young lady sorry forgot her name.

Recently brought a few items for my nephews and the staff were super nice, not just at this Smiths but at the one in Whakatane as well. Customer service is amazing. They made you feel great walking out.

Awesome service from William from his initial smile to walking you out the door. Highly recommend coming here for that down to earth service and extra care. Plus side my carpets look amazing!

Staff were great. Didn't have what I wanted in stock. Arranged for it to be shipped from another store. Parcel arrived following day in time for my granddaughters birthday. One very happy grandma here.

I tried to use Easy Card for online purchase fir click & collect. It would not send verification code to my mobile. According to Customer service my Easy Card needs to have my current ID sighted in store due to new financial regulations. When asked if customers had been emailed these changes and requirements the answer was no.

Spied a product online cheaper, so messaged the store, William got back to me within a few hours to say it was in stock and they would price match it. Went in next morning and he remembered my name. What awesome customer service. Great asset to Smiths City. Keep it up William

Extremely helpful staff who listened and ran through various scenarios to find something that would meet my requirements. Time spent doing this wasn't a problem.

Excellent service, I ordered Samsung Jet 90 Pet Handstick Vacuum Cleaner on Mon 30/8 I received a confirmation of my order instantly. Tue 31/8 promptly received an email to say that my order is on its way. WOW! As this is classed as an essential item I was still able to receive the vacuum during Level 4 lockdown in Aotearoa.

The vacuum arrived Wed 1/9 around 8am (can I add that this was delivered from Rotorua) Thank you so much having a clean home again is such a dream. I will order again.

UPDATE received an email today Mon 6/9 from Smiths City that an additional battery has been ordered for me! Even though I had missed out on the promotion, thank you so much

Our old panasonic stereo system was very tired. After over two decades, it needed a service, so we showed it total loyalty by buying another (new) one. This one is a micro stereo, and has a lovely sound. It fits into our TV set-up (the panasonic plasma tv is still going great so it stays til it needs to go).

Service at Smiths City was helpful and most pleasant. Will return sometime when the need arises again
