Tauranga Crossing reviews
52Very modern and flash mall. We were VERY impressed with the selection of food here. I wish the other malls around the country would have such good food options too.
I parked my car in the underground car park and mall security gave me a final notice and have my rego details when I have never received a notice before. The final notice says if I ever park there again I will get clamped and have to pay $50 cash to the center management which seems dodgy and unauthorised.
Went to ippin for dinner tonight around 8.30pm but we went there to see the lights off.that is so annoying to see as mall is advertising the area to be open till 10pm. Dissapointed
Awesome shopping centre. Modern and new. Has everything a big city mall needs as well as major store brands. Cinemas, groceries, clothing, a food court and tonnes of car parking. It even has the store that sells the best pies in all of NZ (Patrick's Pie)
Tauranga Crossing est 2016. Nice big aera big shops multi level mall beautiful scenic views. Go buy something
Nice new mall, nothing too special just the usuall offerings in shops. But still a good facility.nice little outdoor area for chilling in
Lots of shops for the ladies, gents are left a little in the lurch. Also love that the food court is unusually high end for a mall but I wouldn't mind some cheaper fast food options to balance things out.
We drove through a month ago & i thought what a nice shopping center like fashion island not knowing what was under ground.this past weekend we stayed at the mount & thought lets have a good look & oh my god what an amazing mall the shops stunning the food variety insane.then you get on here & see these, complaining people (wake up). Coming from rotorua this is dam cool.love to own a shop in this mall one day, one of the cutting bars. 10 out of 10
Opened in March of 2019, Tauranga Crossing is a great destination for shopping, dining and entertainment. Located 10 minutes from downtown Tauranga.
Nice and modern shopping mall but only 4 mens/womans shared individual toilets for this entire mall. Absolutely shocking! Worst part - the doors cant even lock.
Thank you to the people of the Crossing.
I had reason to complain about a small matter. The management addressed it without delay. The Crossing remains my favourite BOP shopping centre and justifiably so.
Thank you
Von
Not big on shopping malls anyway but to shut the food hall at 6 on a Saturday when it’s packed is a joke it’s 2019.
New 70+ shops. Event cinemas and food court is also new. H&M is here! Well maintained and plenty of parking spaces. Great place to spend your weekends or holiday.
Great new Shopping centre, I can see this being a great venue for females to shop at, but for the average male, there isnt much there, no hardware or technology shops, ie, JB HiFi. The only plus for males is that there is somewhere to sit down and have a beer or coffee while we are waiting
Nice looking mall, well done guys, my experience wasn't great as far as the food went, went to bird on a wire eatery, my mother and i ordered the same meal, when served hers was almost twice the size of mine so i made a complaint and they were obliged by replacing mine to match my mothers, thanks for that unfortunately the food on par was very average and tasteless its not hard to make a good chicken roll, all 3 dishes none of us really enjoyed them, and $65, we left feeling really disappointed we chose this shop to eat, we talked to a couple next to us and they both said there food was average, wish we had chose another option.the crossing has outdone bayfair in the food department as a whole but lacks the fashion that bayfair has, but we would probably come back again for sure to try another food option or the vmax
We like this new shopping center, H&M is here, lots of shops and a big cinema, beautiful and comfortable environment, if open time to 9pm will be perfect:)
Really cool now with the new shops but maybe change the name to the lakes mall or shopping centre cause that’s what people are calling it. The crossing just don’t sound right
*Below are photos of some stores down at the crossing*
Pros: I love the selections of stores that are already down at the crossing and the stores that will be down there.
Cons: The car part is very tight and a delivery truck unloads outside of the Mill house and blocks traffic. Because of this people drive dangerously.
A "Starbucks" store should be put down at the crossing.
Went and got my nails done at professionail they are very fat and not rounded into a shape of a nail. My nails looks boxy and project from my hands. Waste of money will not return
One of NZ's most well designed malls. Very well ventilated and stores are large and spacious and not crammed together willy nilly. The interiors are decorated beautifully and change with the season. There is a huge array of stores, but they are the same generic brands one would find in any shopping complex across the country. That being said, the mall has used its space to the fullest, with a ground and first floor, with parking on the outside of the mall on both levels.
The main staircase (yes, actual stairs!) that leads up from the food court, takes you upstairs to even more stores, specialty eateries and a movie theatre - Event Cinemas, which also features a V-MAX screen. The aforementioned eateries are siruated in thr upper level in an area apltly named The Observatory - which, given its elevation, has stunning views of the motorway, and the Tauranga/Tauriko traffic interchannge. On the other side of the mall are elevators and an escalator for those who are unable, or do not want to use the stairs.
The only drawback is the parking, which although huge and has space for over 1000 cars and has ample parking officials guiding the flow of traffic, is barely able to handle a busy Saturday arvo, as most of the cars there belong to employees who arrive there earlier in the day, and the parking officials dont know whether you're just entering or trying to exit as they all just seem to be guiding cars to the jam packed outdoor parking area or to the exit.
There is great potential for this mall should it introduce a few big name/ luxury brands into the complex as it could be a huge revenue generator, a local attraction, would make the mall stand out more than it already does and also would bring many more people who would come exlusively to visit these stores.
