Alameda Kennels & Cattery

My two cats were here for 3 days in May 2023 and as it was my first time leaving them at a cattery, it was nerve reckoning but they absolutely did a great job.
I could just see they were fed well and their coats were shiny.they were comfortable. I would definitely recommend them

Our two chihuahuas stayed for a fortnight, they were well looked after and loved. Great peace of mind to have them in good hands.

Bill (my dog) was well varied for. Very central. Friendly and caring staff. Bill will certainly be back.

Can't thank you enough, they cared for our cat and dog for almost 2 weeks while we were on holiday and then we got stuck in Auckland for longer than expected because of the Cyclone. During the holiday rush, they couldn't accommodate my dog because I left it way too late. But in an act of professionalism and good heartedness they gave me a recommendation for where I could find a place for my dog. Helping someone who jsnt even a clienr yet speaks volumes. I'll be back.

Really like this kennel, our dog is a large x breed, and has anxiety. The staff are amazing, very knowledgeable, kind and enjoy their work. This translates to a relaxed drop off and pickup. Our dog has no problem going in and comes out happy, not scared or anxious The facility is clean, fresh and suitable. The price for daycare is fantastic Totally recommend this kennel for all breeds and needs.

Warrick took really good care of my baby. He's home now and looking as healthy and happy as when he left.

Exellent staff! Very welcoming. My dogs Abit of a handful.soon as I walk into the door they grab his lead while I write a couple of details down, i would have to carry his 40kg a$s while doing so. My dogs first visit was at 4 months old he's now 1 and is a regular overnighter. Wouldn't send him anywhere else. Thanks so much guys

I am so impressed with the staff at Alameda kennels. My dog became unwell. They immediately contacted me. They found out where my vet is and took her there. Her issues were sorted and my dog is getting. Can highly recommend the kennels. I cannot wait for my next holiday and book her there. My dog loves going there too.

Staff were friendly and the cattery was good value. However, we gave feeding instructions as we provided our cat's own food, but he was only fed the cattery biscuits.

Had my cat and dog booked in over xmas break, they don't usually go into cattery /kennels so I was a bit anxious how they would go. When I picked them up I was so pleased to see that they had obviously been well cared for. Will be going back again.

My dog is always well looked after here, despite plenty of other options closer to my house I prefer to have her stay here. Every time we drive past Alameda Kennels she starts wagging her tail out of excitement, highly recommend

I had used Alameda for doggy daycare with the previous owner and was more than happy. I have found the new owner to be more about business and not about the dogs and cats he pertains to care for. I do not recommend this facility.

Doggo is always taken good care of, comes back happy as Larry. Gets bust over Xmas/ Easter just book in advance

Our two pugs Archie, Winnie and our cat stayed here for a week. Service was very good and new management are very friendly! All 3 animals well taken care of. Would highly recommend using these guys!

Picked up Rosy & Rory yesterday our 1 year old cats & noticed Rory was asleep in the kitty litter & one of their blankets smelt of cat pee.
They were so petrified.
Will not be taking them back to Almeda kennels & cattery.
When I rung the owner he said I was making it all up and lying

Do not ever take your animals here! The owner would have to be the rudest and most abusive thing I have ever dealt with and if he treats your pets the same as he treats his customers, I would be extremely worried. I definitely should have learnt from last year when my poor cat ended up with cat flu after staying there! Horrible place and the most unprofessional kennel around! They do not deserve to be in business!
