High Five Puppy Skills is amazing! The one on one session was the perfect way to delve into learning the skills to train Lenny. He also loved the group class and we have been practicing all of his new tricks. This is the only puppy skills training class I would choose. Thank you so much Margaret!

Margaret has taught us how to adjust our new additions behaviour to be a very social, well adjusted 4 legged family member. Her classes are hands on for both adults and children with lots of fun activities and plenty of opportunity to discuss concerns or wins. Her light hearted humour keeps you thinking and on your toes. Would definitely use Margaret’s services again if we require further help or get another addition down the track.

I would recommend anybody with a young puppy go to High Five Puppy Skills. I took my collie puppy Remi. I loved Margaret's straight forward and positive approach to working with puppies. The class was well structured and of a good size and finished off with the puppies have a good play together. We had a lot of fun, thanks Margaret!

A pity as there are some great reviews here, perhaps I caught you on a bad day? Contact by phone for advice with a biting puppy and found Margaret to be rude and condescending. Not helpful at all.

Margaret was absolutely fantastic in terms of breaking down each training tip to help our precious girl (Bailey) grow into a well-behaved and obedient pup. More importantly, I was highly impressed by the fact that she spent over 20 minutes conversing with me over the phone to answer the many questions I had around training without ever forcing her program onto me or making me feel obligated to use her services. Unlike many other schools out there, she makes it mandatory to do a 1-on-1 session with your pup (before attending group sessions) and customises her approach to the breed, personality and behaviour of your pup. Jimmy and I had a 3 hour 1 on 1 puppy skills session with Margaret when Jimmy was 16 weeks old. Margaret covered everything from basic sit stay commands through to tasks that I was sure were too advanced for Jimmy. We left feeling so much more confident in our ability to train Jimmy reinforcing good behaviour and establishing boundaries. The puppy manual we left with is a great tool to keep referring back to.

Margaret really helped our puppy to settle in our family. Having little kids could be very hard when you have a puppy but after having a session with her everything started to get so much better. Fantastic sessions. Has made a real difference to how we interact with our puppy. Margaret is incredibly skilled and obviously has so many strategies to assist with whatever areas of concern you may have with any age of dog. Highly recommend. Absolutely loved the puppy course! We took this course 6 months ago and our wee boy is now a very well mannered young dog, kind and loving. He came from a rough background and Margaret’s course has turned him right around. I’ve recommended Hi Five Puppy Skills to everyone I know with young puppies!

Instead of her letting me know she didn't have space for my dog, I had to sit and listen to her rant for 8min about how a 3 month old is not suitable for her class (a 3 month old med dog is "too big" and that she doesn't think my breed of dog (American Staffordshire) isn't suitable/safe to be in training with the breeds she has accepted. I bet she is a excellent trainer but if you want a puppy school to help you dog socialise and learn the basics. This is definitely not the correct school.
