Hireace - Christchurch

My companies experience with Hireacetruck hire was horrible. Firstly i was given wrong vehicle. On enquiry staff failed to give answers. I also experienced that staff were unable to assist and referred to other branch managers and they always said someone will ring back and had no calls ever. The worst was that i got truck changed as one given wouldnt fit items i needed to shift. Finally when i went to return the truck, i was told that it was due for return next day, I asked for explanantion for charges on my card and even written email to head office-NO REPLY TILL TODATE. WORST experince ever

Exceptionally awesome service. The team went above and beyond to assist with our booking. Very much appreciated and will definitely use again. The vehicle was also reasonably new and easy to drive.

Regularly use these guys as I'm always in a rush on arrival at the airport. Transfers and processing very quick, vans great, and staff are super friendly.

Excellent service. Replacement van available right away when the first one broke down. Easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

We hired the large cargo van to move house and it was fabulous! The van ran beautifully, was easy to drive and was very clean. The price was really good. The crew at Hireace were helpful and made sure our van worked well before we left. Will definitely come back for our future van/truck hire needs.

Hired the smallest truck with a tail lift from Hornby Chch branch.
Excellent service - quick pick up and drop off.
Truck clean and smelling fresh.
Was able to secure the load inside with tie downs and truck had a great rear view camera
Smooth travels to Blenheim and back.
Another great hire.

Great service start to finish, easy booking on website, good trucks, friendly knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices, would highly recommend, will definitely be back.

Bad experience, wouldn't recommend.

My husband and I made a booking for a work trip and needed a specific vehicle and because of this we called them to ensure we would get the vehicle we needed (not the 'or other' option). We were not worried about the cost, we just wanted to make sure we were able to use it for what was needed.

When we arrived they did not supply the vehicle that was discussed, they were extremely rude and offered no solution. When trying to resolve this amicably the manager was rude and would not let us get a word in without talking over top.

I would not hire from here again

Great service at a good price. I have hired moving trucks from Hireace many times in Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington over the years. Pick up and drop off is always quick and hassle free.

Easy to deal with and have never had any issues renting whether only for a day or weeks worth. Would recommend

Good days work from the van that I hired.easy to drive and load. Good experience all round.

Never again will I use hireace I hired a trailer it got a blowout because of faulty tyre they don't have spare wheels when I tried to replace the wheel from another trailer they said they would call the police they said if I don't have AA find someone who has and use there's FRAUD i took the insurance everything was a waste of time zero help.hired at z station where the staff were great it was hireace head office

Hired a vehicle over 3 weeks ago.
No bond back at this point, there is no problem with the hire, their comment is it takes 7 to 14 days to return? Go elsewhere!

I would recommend to anyone. Hired a furniture moving truck. Easy online booking, the guys at the depot knew their stuff and the truck had a brilliant heater. Only issue was the hydraulic lift gate wasn't aligned properly and was a PITA to slide back into place after using.

Truck was as advertised- ready and waiting pointing at the exit when we arrived. Extra packing ties were already onboard. Pick up was quick and easy- drop off even quicker.

Easy to set up the hire of the vehicle.
Great staff, knowledgeable and friendly. Recommended!
