This will be the first and last that I will bring my fur baby here. My mini schnauzer looks horrible and the long wait is unbelievable. I was ask to come back after 1 hr 30 mins, when I came back they said come back in 20 mins, came back after 20 mins and was ask not yet done so we waited outside for another 10-15 mins under the sun. Apparently you can't bring your car inside the premises as the road contruction is ongoing.

I'm a doggo parent who is always in desperate need of doggo care at the very last minute of my busy schedule. So, the team at Kimmy's, are always very accommodating & extremely patient to our needs. Not to mention, Tyson loves it there. Thankyou!

What can I say but amazing! I have been bring Tayto to daycare for the last two months and he loves it! Initially was pretty unsure of the whole thing but now he’s busting out the door to get in!
The crew are super kind and caring and definitely animal lovers. Ashlee, Trent and Sarah have treated Tayto like their own! I’ve been on crutches for the last 3 months and the team have been amazing at coming out to get Tayto for me and have made it so carefree.
Boarded him for one weekend and he came home happy and tired, even came home with a doggy bag full of treats!
Highly recommend!
Pricing is very reasonable too and times flexible to work in with everyone’s dog requirements

Was not made aware that I could only pick up my boy (dog) during opening hours only on the weekend. None of the staff told me. I feel yuck that I cannot collect my dog on a Sunday at 2pm. Not comfortable at all and will be looking for other places who allow us to pick up our dog at reasonable hours during weekends.

Have been using this place for last couple of years. My little pug loves it here, she always gets so excited when we pull up the drive.

Just picked both my dogs up from there. Both are in great condition and have definitely come home happy. They fitted us in at late notice and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to take them back there again.

Unfortunately I believe the training to deal woth things is lacking you claimed you sit there an untangle mats on dogs and charge 20 for it nothing online stating such
U also ask 20 for “Medicated bath”. With no saying what it is but online its only $10

Highly recommend, left our lovely fluffy under their care for months for personal reasons.
Fluffy is way calmer and showed us few tricks, also he is well groomed.
He is a different dog now, in a good way.
He used to be anxious, but now he is so easy going.
Looks healthy as well.

So happy we found this place. Our puppy came back happy after spending a day with them. You can make out by their behaviour if they enjoyed their stay. He smelt good as well, in other places he used to come back stinky. You can tell they maintain this place well. Happy to recommend them to any dog parents. Their pricing is reasonable as well.

We had our female dog stay here and told them that she was on heat when booking, they said that it was okay and they will keep her separate from the other dogs during her stay.the information was not passed on when we finally had her taken in and little more than 2hrs or so I had a phone call from them and told our dog had tied with another male dog. (fortunately that dog was neautered) they asked again if she was on heat, but this was already explained at the start when we booked. We then picked our dog up after her stay and they charged us $50 extra for this incident! Which was demanded from the male dogs owner but passed onto us, instead of kimmys k9s absorbing the cost for their own neglect! Avoid this kennel at all costs! Will not be having our dog stay here again.

I've been going to Savannah at Kimmys for years. She doesn't just groom your dogs, she cares about them and has alot of knowledge.

Puppy visited for 1st time day care. Was very noisy with barking dogs but she seemed to enjoy it

Great place for dogs and cats, had all three of ours staying for last week and all have come home healthy and happy. Highly recommended!

Sarah was so kind and helpful. Showed me around so I could see where my cat would be staying. Very impressed with the service.

Not a good experience, emailed and asked if they take large breeds and if they are ok with rescue dogs who has separation anxiety and didnt recieve a reply. So I called and spoke to a nice lady who booked him in, I explained his needs and she said no problem. Took him in the next day was assured again he would be fine and he was taken away. Got a call less than 10 mins later from an upset male employee who said our dog had been left alone in an open dog run and he had tried to jump out and had in fact jumped 6 feet onto the roof! He also said that our dog had tried to have a go at the other dogs as he was walked past them but in all fairness the dogs were all barking, growling and howling. Very over whelming. He then said its ok leave him here for the day but you can't bring him back. When I went to pick him up he was sitting in a kennel with his head on his paws not making a sound. I asked again what had happened but the employee said he didn't know. I asked again why he couldn't come back, he asked a lady who was the person I had booked with. She assured me that it was fine, he just needs to become familiar and his anxiety will decrease. And that I should book in advance, so I did the next day and got the rude man who said he's in fact the Manager and why was I calling back! I explained again why and he accused me of lying, and said the nice lady was an employee of his and He's the Manager! He started to be rude to me again so I hung up. I don't recommend this kennel for special need dogs, although it is budget friendly and the other staff were nice. I would recommend going in and confirming all the facts if you are a new client. We found a more suitable daycare.

We had our cats in here a couple of times, no issues and more recently our "Grumpy" dog for a few days. Our dog was cared for well so we have no complaints.

Avoid do not use for grooming.
Summed up succinctly by this place themselves “you should stick regular groomer”.
Good advice! If your regular groomer is unavailable, as ours is, do not use.
My two mini schnauzers came back unfinished. We are going to have to finish the job ourselves pity we can’t reconstruct their beards.
For the record my dogs have been groomed successfully multiple times both in NZ and overseas this is this outlier.

My toy breed dogs (2-4kg) aren’t happy here so hence 2 star.
I’m speaking after one of my dogs has been here 6 times so it’s not like “I tried it once” situation. I was hoping she’d get used to it but it didn’t happen. It says “small dogs only” for the small dog space but I see many medium size dogs that bark loudly a lot in here. The staff probably don’t realise how loud that is as they hear it everyday. And my dogs couldn’t bear it. The owner kindly took my one of the dogs in to her home for a few hours because he was too overwhelmed and couldn’t handle it. When I pick them up, they were both very shaky and they don’t even look at me now at home. They are so upset that I left them there. And they were separated all day.
The other dogs looked having a good time there when I picked mines up so it’s totally each to their own. My little dogs just don’t fit in here.
