Adoro Cafe reviews
58What a wonderful treat for my 85 year-old Mum and her best friend: High Tea at the Adoro. Lovely staff, fantastic service Thank you Team Adoro!
We have coffee / tea here most mornings. This was this mornings coffee!
The French style pastries are worth a try.made by a French pastry chef.and you can tell! Attention to detail. There is a reason this cafe was awarded Napier Cafe of the year. I also enjoy the breakfast burger! We have always found the staff to be helpful and cheerful a sign that the cafe is well run. Recommended.
Food is delicious! Service was fast even tho it was super busy. Seating is warm and comfy Definitly will be back
Went this morning and there was a very nice waiter I wish I got his name but he was so helpful and funny (definitely give him a raise). I recommend the savoury scroll from the cabinet!
A great place in Napier for good coffee with cabinet or kitchen prepared hot food to savour with your drink.
Friendly & helpful staff make a pit stop
here very pleasant
Creamy mushrooms were delicious.my husband had an omelet and said it was one of the best he has had! Staff were very friendly.highly recommend
Had the three egg omelette and it was exactly what I needed at the time. Service was excellent and I got the prettier of the flat whites the waiter brought out
Excellent customer service The food was fresh and tasty. And the coffee was very I highly recommend this Cafe
Jane and Paul are absolute GEMS. They will always welcome you with a smile and give you amazing food. This is my first stop when going to Napier️
This is a lovely place for a quick cuppa and/or a bite or more to eat. Situated in the Old Post Office, it sure is the place to be.
Awesome cafe, this is my Breakfast point whenever I am in Napier. Great food and awesome service. Thanks Adoro Cafe.
We got here attracted by the Italian name and flag, we were quite disappointed to find out it's actually French: (
I used to like going to Adoro, they have a good range of gluten free and the older blonde lady who was always behind the counter was a real delight. But the last time I went earlier this month will be the last time: (I paid $17.50 for scrambled eggs on toast. $17.50! (That is including $1 extra for gf toast - why is that necessary when they use sourdough bread which can't be much less in price than gf bread). Two other cafes I go to charge $9.90 for eggs on toast. I would happily pay $10-12 but $16.50 + $1 is astronomical. Adoro's eggs were nice but then so are other cafes. They did include a small dish of relish, but I didn't eat it as it didn't really suit the dish for my palette. So there was that difference, but paying so much for that extra is not worth going back for. Sorry Adoro, I'll find another place for lunch
A really nice cafe delicious food and good service. Love the sandwiches and they have a delicious gluten free chocolate brownie that just melts in your mouth.
Most expensive double shot coffee I've bought and slowest delivery of cabinet food, with not a thanks smile or anything, sad really
Pretty good place to stop in for brunch. The coffee was great. Food was tasty and staff were friendly.
What a rip off. Certainly won't be back. Came to Adoro because friends labelled it keto friendly – turned out to be the Adoro in Ahuriri, not this one. Asked for the big breakfast without the bread for my husband. Didn't even get offered to have more of something else but still got charged the full price. But even worse, I wanted the scrambled eggs without the bread and asked for the bacon instead, got charged the full price ($16.50) plus the additional $5 for the bacon. $21.50 for scrambled eggs with bacon. Got charged $4.50 for the espressos which I later found out on the board are normally $4. I asked her to explain the $55 and she had absolutely no awareness of why I asked her that. What arrived at the table later was way less than average. A train station has more atmosphere than this place, and nicer staff. We certainly won't be back … coffee was good though.
Coffee cold. Much like the service. Food okay. Pancakes with banana and fruit jam was dry. Could have used cream or a syrup (or something!) eggs a bit overcooked.
This cafe was welcoming to our little family. The lady found us a spot to park the buggy and the baby changing facilitites are nice and clean. The counter food was good and the tea was really nice quality loose tea. We liked this cafe so much we ate here twice during our stay in Napier. I recommend this place
