Bollywood Stars indian tandoori Restaurant

We had a great time, eating delicious food at your restaurant. All the staff were very professional and committed to great and friendly service.
It was an awesome environment. Most importantly the vegetarian food we had tasted great.

We had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews and manager’s word’s, but we were sorely disappointed. The kadai paneer was hot as we requested medium spicy please and blended spice on top was raw (not roasted proper), chicken tikka masala was averaged.and the food lacked flavour. It felt like they were not professional chef’s in kitchen lachha parantha was not flaky it’s like plan Roti and aloo paratha was not cooked proper. We will never visit this restaurant again.

Lovely waiter who explained the meals prior to ordering. He had a great sense of humor and had us laughing from the time we walked in the door. Down to earth, family friendly restaurant. Unfortunately, just had a terrible experience with this restaurant after they served butter chicken with almonds in it to my girlfriend who has a nut allergy. To be clear, there is no mention of nuts being used in the butter chicken on the menu, and after 5 minutes of receiving our dinner her mouth began swelling up.

After approaching the staff and explaining the situation, they proceeded to blame her for not mentioning her nut allergy to them and told us the chef likes to use different garnishes on the curries they serve. We tried to explain that we have ordered the butter chicken from here a few times and they have never used nuts in it before, but they told us that it was not their problem. We were shocked with this reply and left.

After tonight’s experience with the rude and unsympathetic staff, I cannot and will not recommend this place to anybody.

Absolutely disgusting been coming here for years and years meat was expired well rotten new owners very unprofessional argued more then resolved the issue won't be eating there food ever again

The most absolute worst service, gave me a gross tasting butter chicken instead of a korma and when I called in to tell them got abused and accused of lying. Never going back to that $hit establishment.

The food was yummy my son loved the butter chicken he ate my as well. I recommend this restaurant.

Really friendly staff more so than other Indian restaurants near by. I choose to go here over other places not just because the food is great but the staff are polite, bubbly and welcoming.

Worst butter chicken ever. Sauce was way too sweet and really watery. I had seen reviews on this place being to sweet thought it may have changed since they were from 2 years ago but it is still the same the the customer service was great tho I also recommended going to Taj spice as it’s much more cheaper and tastier.

My wife tells me while we sitting eating that the butter chicken had too much to.ato pastry in it she was on point wasn't till then I old tast & see, different types of cook or tryna save themselves $$$

Gross, do not get takeaway. Really disappointing and waste of money, should’ve just got a kfc bucket. The butter chicken is farrrr too sweet and the vegetarian platter was soggy and yuck. Will not be going back.

We came here quite a bit before Covid and it was lovely, first time back and it is wonderful really nice food and great service. I give it 10 out of 10

Probably the best butter chicken in Hastings. Generous portion of curry. Friendly staff. The chicken in their butter chicken and cooked in skewers before being put in curry which gives them a unique taste and texture.

We just ordered takeaways from here. Butter paneer, butter chicken and cheese naan. Literally the worst Indian I have ever eaten. There was more water in the dish than anything else. No flavour and needed a spoon and soo much rice to eat this to soak up the water. The naan had no flavour and was as flat as anything. Do not recommend! Come here if you want soup, not curry!

My favourite Indian Restaurant in Hastings. Flavour is always the same, last year, 5 years ago, last week, it never changes. Delicious food here at Bollywoods.

Food was okay, staff and hospitality was good. Good option for a dine in for Indian food lovers

Best Indian Restaurant in Hastings!

Went around 7pm on a Saturday evening.

Staff was very friendly and management throughout start to finish was absolutely amazing.

Going onto the food. The chef definitely knows what he’s doing. Great authentic Indian cuisine flavours for the curry’s. Lamb Curry & Butter Chicken was very tender and juicy! - Roti and Cheese Naan was cooked to perfection and rice was nice and fluffy followed up with a cold king fisher.

Overall rating for Bollywood Stars Hastings - 10/10
