Haven't been to this spot for a while, huge improvement.the guys are a good team.the batista gave the best coffee nd service I've had in a long time. I had pulled pork eggs Benedict.the food was beautiful.everyone had a good sense of humor.can't wait to come back.

It was cold day but entering the cafe didn't make much difference. It was still cold inside with just little heater down one end. I had the big breakfast. It was Luke warm. The sausage belonged on a BBQ rather than on a breakfast plate. I ate the entire meal except for the sausage. My measure of quality would be whether I could have cooked the same dish in the same time to the same standard. The answer is a firm yes, But! I looked fresh and new so maybe time and feedback will usher in some improvements. I do think the ambience can be improved through installing some decorations on the ceiling and getting the heating sorted out

Had breakfast there with my son this morning, absolutely amazing customer service, great coffee and my poached egg, spinach and hash brown with hollandaise was phenomenal! My son also had the mushrooms on toast and absolutely loved them! Will be back

They need to go to utube to learn to do omelettes they were discusting fried eggs.they could also clear tables after people have eaten. Not impressed

Went for breakfast this morning! Awesome food yum yum! My partner is a chef and couldn’t fault it! Would recommend to all in Napier:) really friendly chef and staff

We dropped in and had one of their "serious" coffees here and as they promote, they certainly have excellent food. There are various dining option areas but It being a glorious day, we chose to sit outside and it was a real pleasure. Great coffee, excellent food and excellent service from a friendly staff.

Very good. Decent size cups and the muffin was very taste. Also great service. Music a bit loud making conversation difficult.

Love this cafe. Had filo filled with chicken and mushrooms. So so delicious. Coffee and food hot. Wonderful. Highly recommend.

If you want weak coffee, a 30+ minute wait for food which comes out cold and missing ingredients so you have to wait another 5 minutes for the rest and to be hassled by guys begging for money this is the place to be. Gets one star for the generous serving of salmon on the eggs bene (which didn't have the eggs).

Had a piccolo here yesterday morning and without a doubt this is the best coffee I’ve had in NZ since moving back from (8 years) living in Italy!

Creamy Mushroom brunch - lovely! Great team with friendly staff. Lovely to sit outside even if the weather was a bit cooler.

We had 3 big breakfasts today, 21 july.the bacon was cold and undercooked, as were the tomatos and mushrooms. The toast needed a chainsaw to cut it. But on a brighter note the poached eggs and the saussage were ok. The meal was quite cold.

Went here for lunch Sunday 11 July the place was busy but we were able to get a table relatively easy. I had the eggs Benedict with bacon and I tell you I'm fussy with my eggs and today's eggs were cooked to perfection the yolk just oozed over everything which I just loved. Keep up the great work guys. We'll definitely be back. The staff were absolutely great and really friendly

A lot of various with ability to make menu tweaks, additions based on preference. Thank sooo much

Caramel slice didn't really taste like caramel. Hot Chocolate was nice but only warm. Daughter enjoyed her apple slice, but she didn't get it for atleast 10minutes after I had received mine.
Staff were cheerful and Cafe was clean and tidy.

Loved the Seafood Chowder. My wife enjoyed the Egg Benedict. The Chi Late was myabe one shot too much. Would definitely come again.

Delicious burgers, nice chips and generous without being being over the top. Great coffee too, keen to come back and try all the home made cakes

Coffee good. Food average. Nice outdoor area. Paid for $18 meal voucher through Quest hotel. Swapped the standard meal for Eggs Benedict, willing to pay the difference. Asked to pay an extra $8.00.
Eggs Benedict is only $19.90, how can you charge an extra $8.00 when the extra charge is only $1.90.
Can't seem to reply to you but hey coffee only $4.50 so extra charge would be $6.30. STILL NOT $8.00!

We come to DMP’s almost every Sunday for breakfast always good food and good service to go with it definitely recommend

It was ok. And this is just my opinion. I didn't enjoy my coffee and I ordered the lambs fry dish which was so sweet it could have been a dessert. Staff were nice and the place was very clean. We did wait quite a long time when there were only 4 other tables occupied.
