Took my family here, amazing food at a very good price. Excellent serving size and presentation. Great customer service, so friendly and make sure the order is taken correctly and you are aware of any allergies and special ingredients. Very authentic and great atmosphere, was a very calming space.

I was born in Malaysia and I don't often get to eat the wonderful food from my home country. So what a treat to be transported back at this restaurant. Food is authentic Malaysian and very delicious. Waitress/owner is very gracious and friendly. They are also very welcoming to families with children.

Great spot for homesick Malaysians and anyone who loves to experience some authentic malaysian goodness! I love the chili pan mee, the noodles were cooked perfectly, crispy chili sauce for the kick. Nasi lemak was great as well, the fried chicken wings were amazing. Oyster omelette was good too and teh tarik was decent, could have been richer but it was acceptable. Friendly owner who did her best to ensure a great dining experience. Wonderful experience indeed!

Had serious trouble trying to pick what to order from the menu, so many things that I want to eat! Didn't expect to find such authentic Malaysian restaurant at Napier! We ordered a laksa, nasi lemak, chilli pan mee & fish and chips. All the dishes were really good! Highly recommended!

Beautiful relaxing place to be. The atmosphere is so chill, the music is ambient and of course the food was so good and so affordable that we can now say, this place us our local. We meet clients and friends here often and will continue to do so.
These guys are very accommodating, friendly and always seem to be happy to see you like it's your 1st visit.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The food is amazing, really delicious, fresh and full of flavour. The service is fantastic and many restaurants could learn from. Also on top of it all the nices people work there.

The dining area has extremely strong cooking smell, so we chose to takeaway, we ended up nearly a hour wait. The food was just okay, tofu (4 small pieces) we ordered was tasteless and pricey.

Absolutely fantastic! The warm welcome and service, exceptional food, great wine, the team here should be really proud of the offering and hospitality they provide.

This place has become my partner and I's absolute favourite place to share a meal together or with friends. There's never been a dish or a service that has disappointed.

Authentic Malay cuisine that truly expressed the fresh, quality and full flavor fusion of the Malay/ Indian and Chinese influence that inspire the dishes. I grew up in a Anglo-Indian/ Burmese descent family and the food just reminds me of all the beautiful cooking of the Aunty's and Grandma's we got to enjoy as kids.

You can feel the time and love in the food!

Most importantly the staff, especially our fav Lady Fong Yee, are always kind, caring, interested and attentive!

Know any wait if it is a busy service is always worth the time until the dish arrives on the table.

Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!
My partner and I came here to treat ourselves after a long time of van-life cooking, and we are so thrilled we did. The Mee Kacang was beautiful, filled with so many complementary flavours (I would advise only adding the side of chilli sauce if you can handle your spice!) and was a perfect portion size. The deep-fried banana for dessert was also absolutely delicious! The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and hospitable, and the meals came out in a timely fashion. Truly excellent, and a credit to Napier!

As a Malaysian backpacker, I would said these foods are authentic and deserve a try but some dishes are tasted slightly different. It's relevant hard to find a Malaysia eatery out of main cities but we have one here in Napier during our stay at Hawke's Bay.

Loved the quirky little spot, loved the food and the service was excellent. I was advised what to get because Im not the most experienced in terms of the food choices, and it was amazing. Will definitely go again.

My husband and I have just had the most amazing meal. It was the first time we have visited this place and would highly recommend everyone to give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.
As vegans we found the food to be amazing. It was great value for money, the servings were generous and the staff were friendly and efficient.
