Lucky inn (Oriental Chinese Restaurant) reviews
29Appauling customer service here. Asked for a meal for two take away and received very undersized meal of BBQ pork and Chrispy pork for $33. Asked for a refund instantly, only for my pregnant partner to end up stressed and in an argument with the female worker who would not refund- even though we had not touched the food. Pork was fatty and we will not return. Let's hope we are not sick too!
The price is not reasonable. Small portion and normal taste. Especially King prawns you will be surprised.
The service was pretty poor, There appeared to be fly defecation on the eftpos machine, The food was ok, Our table clothes were dirty and looked to be stained, The carpet also needed a good vacuumed. There were a lot of flys around and there was no air circulation in the restaurant, I don't normally complain but i felt I need to leave a correct review for others.
Es riecht nach Desinfektionsmittel. Im Currygericht sind 2 kleine Fleischstücke und viele Kartoffeln. Trotzdem nicht preisgünstig.
Woman behind counter doesn’t speak English, chef didnt cook ordered food because he only could make a different one. Way to overpriced. 30$ for a small plate of food? I pay 10$ for that and it is made by hand and not out of the can.
Don’t go here, ever.
We stopped here randomly, with no expectations. Back in the UK, a name like Oriental Chinese Restaurant would not be a place that attracted Chinese people. I was very pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant full of native Chinese speakers, all enjoying very good food.
The service was friendly and fast, the dim sum was delicious, and I will be back.
We've been here a few times now and every time we were there, our food was delicious, fresh and well prepared. Even the kids love it. Their Yum Cha is really good. We highly recommend it. It's the best tasting Asian food we've had in Napier. On Yum Cha days you get to try a lot of different things, which can be fun. The staff is all very nice and friendly too.
Was disappointed when for buff dinner food was old but the young guy that looked after us was nice
