We’ve been coming to Off the Track for years. It’s great for families with kids and for big groups. Service is excellent and friendly. Very relaxed. Heaps of space. Great playground.

Beautiful food, took quite a while to arrive but worth the wait. Friendly service and cool view of Te Mata Peak.

Have been here in tha past and it was good but will not be going back again! Steak was chewey and COLD chips were not even cooked through and barley warm Also. Partners fried chicken burger was not fried chicken atall it was all soft and wet on the outside, same also half raw chips. Mum got fish n chips and the fish was good she said but same again half raw chips barley warm. Seems the standard here's dropped dramatically over the years. Best part was the ginger beer. Highly disappointed to say the least

Big breakfast was luke warm, sausage was raw had to be asked to be cooked and reserved same sausage less it was cooked and hot. Eggs Bennie was Luke warm. No love in the food. Ordered coffee when first got there and had to ask where it was when we didn’t receive it, got hot drinks at end of meal. Coffee was good. Hot chocolate was the worst I’ve ever had tasted like cocoa powder from the baking isles. Under staffed. Will not go back there.

Excellent service and very nice grounds with a great view towards the Peak. Not cheap and would have liked more salads. But the others in our group enjoyed their lunch choices. Coffees good and a good drinks menu.

Awful. We expected so much more given that we frequented for many years and always enjoyed the food and the booze of course. Now retired we don't go out quite as often but often enough that we won't be back and waste our money. There are a lot more options where we can dine. Sorry. Disappointing

A great venue with friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. There's a play area for children and on a recent warm summers day, sitting out on the patio with a drink and something to eat was a great way to spend an afternoon.

Just back from a delicious dining experience. The service, food and atmosphere 10 out of 10. I shall be recommending and returning. Pam

Also, unlike a lot of places they also update their menu regularly which is really refreshing and is always something to look forward to

Really nice view through the big glass wall. The food are tasty, beef are medium rare with the pepper sauce, juicy and spicy taste.
A litter bit too sweet for the date cake for me.

Have always liked this place in the past. We had a large birthday group for lunch. Unfortunately the mussel dish consisted of tough tiny mussels and the meal was bulked out with half lemons on the plate. Very bland. Would not go again

Excellent location and facilities, breathtaking scenic views, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Caters for all age groups. Absolutely amazing food menu.
A must go to place when visiting Hastings and Havelock North.
