Amaya Indian Cuisine reviews
13 Exceptional food, we had lajawab and tika masala, both were really beautiful - you'd have been happy to eat in a high-end restaurant; and
the naans were super fresh, generous in size and beautiful. Good rice too. Atmosphere wasn't great but really didn't matter.
The number of flies we observed within the restaurant should have sufficed for us to cancel our freshly placed order but alas, we persevered within our endeavour to taste the offerings of what is purported to be one of Bulls’ most prestigious Indian restaurants / fish and chip shop. To our dismay we were presented with reheated renditions of our favourite Indian cuisine atop of paper plates, complimented only by wooden cutlery. The absence of water solidifying this culinary experience as simply one of the worst that we had the disfortune of subjecting ourselves to voluntarily. Not even the abundance of what is presumably Value brand cheese within our $7.50 cheese and garlic naan could rectify the dryness of the microwaved chicken. As the next victims scanned the menu of misrepresentations we considered warning them of the terrors which lay ahead. Suffice to say we will not be returning.
Stopped here this afternoon for a butter chicken and it did not upset my fussy pallet great meal infact probably the butter chicken I've eaten, amazing!
We had butter chicken, which was very nice, a bit sweeter than I would like but very good otherwise and garlic naan was great. Quick service and friendly staff.
I was so excited to get the curry rolls for dinner that when I got home I realised I had forgotten to pick up my dog from the kennels
Great service and great food.
A very tiny place in bulls. My first trip to bulls today and we had our lunch here. Very nicely done aloo paratha with raitha.
The chicken Tikka was so tender and moist. Above all very friendly service.
We will surely be back on our next trip.
Kids also loved their butter chn.
Many people hear tell of the great Bulls butter chicken roll.
But which Roll is the OG?
I was devasted when i went to Aamod one day, saw a new chef in the kitchen, and found the flavour far from the greatness it once was.but then i learned the truth:
Aamod was the original birthplace of this infamous delecacy, but when Aamod came under new ownership, the original crew moved and set up shop in the BP complex taking their original secret recipe with them.
While the OG location might be Aamod.dont let this fool you.
The OG Butter Chicken Rolls live here, at Amaya Indian Cuisine. Dont let any traitor tell you otherwise.
We always have dinner or lunch at bulls every time we travel through bulls. Today we discovered this place and we had lamb vandaloo and chicken korma with garlic nans. Their spicy hot level is great which I couldn’t get everywhere and love the tender and soft lamb and chicken. I will go again this place. I recommend this place.
Best fish and chips in bulls by far.fish is beautiful and crispy and fresh. Lovely family. Butterchicken is beautiful to. Taste like the one from Palmy plaza. 10 out of 10 all round. Ka pai whānau.
The biggest Fish in town without a doubt. I've been to all of them and this place is by far the best in town
I've come here a couple of times I get the butter chicken meal, lovely food everytime, probably the best butter chicken I've had by far, great service, neat little shop and fair pricing
Got the butter chicken wrap the sauce was tasty but only had three bits of chicken and tons of rice. I've never seen rice in a butter chicken wrap and dont ever want it in a wrap again.
Amazing, top it off the best fish n Chips in town. Food made with Love and honour. Very beautiful service?
