Beijing Big Hotpot Chinese Restaurant reviews
26Nice food, even though they use MSG (not a problem to me because it's normal in Asian cuisines). However, it's somewhat overpriced for the quality and atmosphere. The kitchen is open to the dining area. Also, there's some sticky feeling on the chairs and tables, which can feel nasty to some people. It would be better if they could rearrange or rework their dining area for a better dining experience.
Went to this restaurant for takeaways yesterday on way home. Very helpful attendant assisted me in my choices and the Chinese food was the best I have tasted in years. Beautiful food! Highly recommend and will go again
We got the hotpot buffet. So much food. Very yummy. We had the half/half pot. Spicy and the normal broth. They had so many different options to choose from. We really enjoyed ourselves. We are definitely going again. Definitely come with a group of friends. Thank you!
My favorite place in all of Palmy, great food, great time, and a great atmosphere. My go to recommendation for anyone wanting dinner in Palmy.
45 mins plus wait for the food the dumplings were heated in microwave all foods were very slow to come to table had to wait for each meal after finished one meal.
Good food, fresh vegetables. Friendly staff and healthy food. We will be happy to come back again.
Loved it. Second time I have been here and shared some pretty cool moments with friends. Staff were all super polite and always asked if we needed assistance. The kitchen got a bit backed up towards the end but staff apologized. I would happily come here again:)
Except for the fish everything else was just amazing. Good food good service! Would totally recommend people to come if you love hot pot or want to try hot pot.
Best hotpot in Palmerston North. And their Bubble Tea is amazing too.highly recommend this place
Very Nice would recommend for everyone to try the hotpot at least once the owner was lovely and very helpful.
Hardly any choice, many options were crossed on their menu (prawns, crab balls, prawn balls, veg balls, etc) because the cost price was high
Amazing food that is very reasonably priced, and really friendly and attentive staff. Went there with three hungry kids, and we all left completely satisfied. Will definitely go there again! And again!
This is my favourite place over all other hot pot places I’ve ever been to, from their very tasty homemade sauces to their delicious range of authentic Chinese cuisines and not to mention BEST homemade noodles this place is a must!
And if you’re wondering they have very friendly, caring and considerate staff just to top it off, this is definitely my “go to” every time.
Chur!
Had the hot pot.
Most things were in Chinese and it's authentic and catered for the Asian market.
Really enjoyed it, but also glad I went with a Chinese mate who ordered etc
If you like hotpot, this place is well worth a try. They bring you authentic ingredients and you heat them in your hotpot of boiling water for a while. Delicious!
Really nice restaurant and owner. Recommend the cumin lamb. And if you're feeling hungry, the hotpot buffet is great.
Highly recommended! Went there for the first time last week and it was so good we went back a second time a few days later!
Best chinese in palmerston north. Actual cuisine that is not just the normal rubbish from takeaways. Good prices and serving sizes.
Great to have hotpot here in PN. They have a pay-per-item (buffet) choice if you are just popping in for a quick lunch like we were and aren't up for the full hotpot binge!
Recommendations: get the half-and-half pot for your stock and definitely hit up the noodles, fungus (wood ear mushroom), and the seafood! Fellow Pākehā have no fear, just muddle through for an awesome feed.
