Coo-Ee Dry Cleaners reviews
16My designer silk dress had a grease mark on it and I had tried everything to remove it myself. I was ready to throw it away but Coo-Ee said they could fix it for me and they did! Great job and much appreciated.
Took a coat to get dry cleaned, staff were super friendly and helpful. Only thing was that I had to ring to ask when it was ready as I hadn't received any calls when it was finished, apart from that I would definitely recommend.
There is a reason this business has only achieved a 3 star, and accurately reflects their quality of service and customer care.
They tried to deflect a poor job by blaming the customer for bringing in suit pants that were claimed to be excessively dirty on both legs. So they fry the pants and completely damage them, and then claim it’s not their problem and then become abusive and aggressive. Highly not recommended.
Took some garments in for dry cleaning. Staff were very friendly and professional, and the service was fast. I definitely recommend this business to other people.
I would like to thank the owner of this business who went above and beyond in their customer service. It is not often people take FULL responsibility when things go wrong but this company is headed by Management who have the old fashioned values. Thank you Coo-Ee. You have a customer for life.
Took in some duvets and she charged me 80 buks to get 2 duvets cleaned! Thankfully I actually had more than 2 duvets wrapped up in amongst them without realizing. When I went in to pick them up she said that there was more than 2 duvets and that it would cost more. I said really!? Because I already thought it was expensive to get 2 of them cleaned for 80 buks! She then said I suppose I could do a deal and didn't charge me extra which was fair. However when I got home I had a look and they didn't even look like they had been cleaned! There are still yellow cat pee stains on them. Not happy. Would expect more for 80 buks.
Great service, great results, great price. I dropped in a nice shirt with a grease stain I couldn't get rid of. Next day for $7.50 it was just like new. Cheaper than getting another shirt!
My child had to have a week off school waiting for her school uniform to be heemed from these guys and they just kept blaming me saying I heard wrong. The guy was raising his voice on the ph and being extremely rude. Will not deal with this company again.
One of the worst dry cleaning experiences in terms of service. Had my jacket taken in and specified the day I need it by, when I came to pick it up it wasn’t even sorted yet! No appologise, older lady just bluntly said that it will be ready next day anytime from 6am, when I showed up at 9 next morning it’s still wasn’t ready. If you don’t want to waste your time and energy and are after a reliable service look elsewhere
. Very interesting - I live in Melbourne now, but worked there in the 1950s.we had 1 cleaner, 2 pressers, and the lady on the counter. Mr & Mrs Johnson were the owners at that time.that brings back many memories. I was born in the Rostrata Maternity Hospital in Ruahine St; - THANKS. Ian Drinkwater

While the staff are nice, the owner of this drycleaner is rude and unhelpful. Had an expensive garment ruined in a contaminated cleaning load. Despite being told repeatedly that I would be contacted, I had to chase this business every step of the way to get the situation remedied.
My cousin bought her wedding dress here to have it dry cleaned and it was returned damaged (and she didn’t even follow through with the full dry cleaning process once she heard how dare this place was). Definitely do not recommend!
I worked here 7 years ago when I first came to New Zealand when no-one wood give me a job Coo-ee did I stayed with them for many years I can say with 100% they are very friendly professional everyone that can into the shop always left very happy the workers always worked 100% on all the clothes and a very happy place to work they give me a start in NZ when I came from England now I have my own company thanks to Coo-ee
A very big thank you
The worst dry cleaning experience. Absolutely destroyed my wedding dress and refused to take responsibility for it. The silk slip came back with a black trolley wheel mark on it and the lace/silk outer had fallen apart. Was reassured throughout the process everything was fine, and the owner was rude and unapologetic when confronted about the damaged.
Honestly the worst place, my friend took her clothes there to get them washed, she gets them takes them back to the flat and they are shrunken! Went back the next day and told us that it doesn't happen. Don't go here
