Copper Tree Cafe

The owner lost it today at someone in the street. Made for a very uncomfortable experience.

Arrived just on closing time, staff were helpful, efficient and know me as we had gluten and dairy free dietary requirements in our group. Patience and understanding shown to an indecisive 5 year old.food was fresh and we'll presented.

Coffee was disgusting and over priced. Staff where standing about and looks uninterested. Do not recommend at all!

Went to get a coffee at 1.37pm and asked if we could sit outside and were told no, we are packing up. I'd assume if a place says it closes at 2pm you can expect to get service until 2pm, apparently not. Went down the road to THE TRUNK COFFEE HOUSE instead and got great coffee and amazing service. I won't bother trying the copper tree again

Would definitely be going back. Great homemade food. Reasonably priced. Good service. Clean and tidy too.

Nice vibe, good options in the cabinet & the board, incl. GF ones. Try the GF lemon & lime cheesecake if it's available it's delish. Good is OK.

An okay cafe but better than most in Taumarunui. Decor okay, selection could be better. Happy to recommend it but not excited.

Spacious, friendly staff. Great burger and their pasta of the day was nice too. However, not recommend their Sailor's lunch.

A treasure in the centre of Taumarunui Main Street. Serving wholesome hearty food the cabinet display is well stocked and colourful. The meals are generous and filling. All pies are homemade and look appetising and they make the classic toasted sandwich. Coffee is Altura from Auckland and a lifesaver in the small country town.
There is table seating or lounge and the staff are friendly and courteous.
A welcoming retreat after traveling through the heart of NZ.

A cosy cafe with good food, seem to always be very busy and under staff though so food and coffee usually takes a while to come round, had to ask a few times to get milk for my tea

Reasonable price. Lacking customer service skills. Not professional to make a customer feel bad for picking up an order late. Tried to explain myself but to no avail. Otherwise good meals and price.
