Went with my friends to watch Sound of Freedom. Thank you for having the guts to show what appears to be very controversial film around the World by not allowing it mainstream. However we all enjoyed the lovely food, service and atmosphere.

Comfy seating, cozy environment. Great sounds and convenient location from home. Easy to navigate app for viewing screening times and straight forward to book.

Gio went above and beyond to accommodate us and our party. I am beyond thrilled with the customer service and can't wait to visit the Focal Point Feilding again soon

The cabinet food and customer service was a bit substandard. The rest of the experience was great.

Staff great, chicken burger dry.
Garlic bread had lacking taste of garlic. Otherwise it was okay.

Good coffee and comfortable seating. However I couldn't order anything because there were no keto options on offer.

We had free coffee vouchers to spend so chose a time after the movie went in. A group of 3 people turned from the food cabinets and left as we walked in saying there was nothing that attracted them. The staff member who served us was friendly and efficient. The coffee came within a short time. The cafe was extremely noisy with kitchen clatters. I had to remove my hearing aids after a few loud noises which was not ideal for listening to my companion. I picked up a brochure about the catering which covers platters as well as lunches and dinners.

I had a yummy plum and cream cheese muffin. Will have to go back for another. Cabinet food very inviting and well presented. Friendly service.

We like this place for a lovely drink and something delicious to eat. And sometimes watching a good movie. Service is always very good.

Shocking customer service. The sour faced young girl obviously found us nuisance coming in late afternoon. It is advertised that they close at 5pm on a Tuesday. We went in at 4.10 and she said they were closing in 15mins. We ordered our drinks and cake but my husband ordered a salad from the cabinet which was to be warmed. We were told we could not use a credit card or cash! The rest of us had eaten our cake and drink when the salad was finally brought over, 20mins later. The first waitress had left, and this waitress said she didnt know about the salad in the microwave. By then we were ready to leave and as the salad looked as though it had been over done my husband asked for a refund. All in all, we very unimpressed with the service and attitude of the staff.

Went for a Playcentre fundraiser and they coped well with many people arriving at the same time for food and drink. Loved the array of food options and that you can take proper wine glasses, cutlery and crockery into the theatre to sit on comfy, wide, lounge-like seats. The flip side to this is that the seats could do with a deep clean. The light coloured fabric is showing some wear. But a really fun night, with friendly, capable staff and a cosy environment. Definitely a great asset to the community, not having to drive to Palmy.

We have visited this cinema a few times now, and each time, we have had to ask for the sound to be turned up as the movie is played VERY quietly.not a movie experience. You may want to dress warmly (jacket on) as the cinema air conditioning is very cold. Not impressed really. Otherwise.lovely, clean cinema.

Service non existent and totally ignored by staff. Waited 55 mins in empty restaurant for entrees and main to arrive together. Had to get own menu, go and order meal, ask for cutlery. Very average meal. Asked for takeaway kahlua cheescake which was so terrible they got thrown away. Came with lots of whipped cream which melted during the movie ruining my clothes.

Tried for the first time today after receiving a voucher for my birthday. As soon as we walked in the young girl at the counter (blonde girl) was wonderful her customer service needs to be commended, cheerful and welcoming and without a doubt some of the best customer service we have ever experienced. The food was exceptional and overall a 10/10. The only thing to pick at would be it did feel a bit crammed, although this was made up with more seating out the back. We will be back and look forward to trying more on the menu or even a movie!

Focal Point has two cinemas and a café in a boutique setting. Generally the service is great. There's a lovely range on their menus.
Focal Point may want to take the following into consideration. Entry/Exit to their establishment. When patrons whether they are there to have a meal or go to the cinema it causes congestion at the counter and onto the pavement. When potential patrons see this the actual decide to go elsewhere.
When ordering a meal may I encourage you to ask your patrons when they would like their beverage (coffee or tea) served. Generally people drink it after they've eaten.
Your waiting times from the kitchen are too long.

Got the beef burger, buns dry and stale burger patty was burnt to a crisp. Was disgusting. Wont be back. Shame, kids enjoyed their POD food.

I personally think it's time for a revamp - better and more comfortable seating. Service at the counter should be separated. One area for just ticket sales and another for food because service is too slow. We were all waiting outside in the cold because there was no room at the inn. BUT most importantly - WHY are you NOT enforcing the mandate for 'wearing a mask' (especially in the theatre's) ? It was full and only 4 of us had masks on and very few people were eating! Not good enough now that we are experiencing an upward surge in Covid numbers‍️

The theatre is clean and the seats are comfortable, the food is really nice but the iced coffee was much more bitter than i had expected.

Very disappointed went for lunch ordered the BAO buns with pork. They were so salty l politely informed the staff l admit l ate one thinking it may just be me. One bite of the second one and l realized they were all like that.they said would l like 2 more l asked to change it to chicken. When they arrived they had no coleslaw just 2 small pieces of chicken and a drizzle of sauce.and the chicken was dry and over cooked.l only ate one as l was totally put off. Sad as usually you get really good food. Not worth $18 that's for sure.l hate moaning but times are tough and if people are prepared to spend money at your business look after them then they come back.
