Such delightful food that is different and abundantly delectable. Team of 7 all enjoyed the variety of food available. Vegetarian option looked fresh and yummy too

Fabulous meal once again. We are vegan and are never disappointed at the options available. The restaurant was packed and the service was exceptional. You can still hear your table talking even when it is packed busy. Awesome food, service and atmosphere.

What an amazing place. For 50$ I had the chefs recommendation. Which had all their signature dishes.and pretty filling too. Much better than YATAI at Featherston st. Highly recommended. And amazing service.

The dessert was ok creme brûlée. Included in the meal but prolly skip dessert if u r going for Ala Carte.

Great food. Worth the money spent. This time has prawns and mushroom balls for entree. And other dishes that I have forgotten name. Definitely worth visiting.

Visited again Nov 2023: : post Covid

Food items have certainly become more expensive but that is true for any restaurant. However the quality has certainly slipped and is not what it was pre Covid. Which I can also understand. However the service has also dipped! Which I cannot understand.
We paid 50$/ head for 4 people without any drinks.

Sushi, 18$/head for 6 pieces: good and certainly worth it. (X3)
Takoyaki - octopus 16$ and very nice
squid. 20$ not worth it if you ask me.sizzling salmon 31$, nothing special. I’d avoid. It didn’t even come out sizzling!
Salmon steak 39$ also worthy
tempura platter 40$ (not worth it to be honest)

Food was fabulous as always. We had an excellent waitress, Bethany, she attentive and kind and really made our night!

We been to Haru many many times and is the best sushi place i have eaten in NZ and i have bring all my friends to try it! Lucky we have discovered them when they first opens

Phenomenal lunch, with authentic Japanese flavours, comes as a full set with all the sides you could imagine. Ordered the Japanese curry with Chicken Katsu it was excellent. The ambience is delightful and the staff are prompt, friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

Find Japanese ish food with a nz twist. Spice was sharp and on point. Crispy and unctuous bite sized sharing plates.

This was probably the best Japanese restaurant I've ever been to! We arrive and are instantly greeted by a charming waitress, who told us exactly where to sit. After the perfect amount of time, as if they knew, they came and took our orders. The restaurant was reasonably busy for such a small place, and the service was still amazing! After a little bit our drinks came out and they were perfect, I ordered the yuzu cold tea and it was spectacular! We ordered our food at the same time as our drinks and considering the amount of food we ordered (we ordered 4 set meals) it come out at a reasonable time of half an hour. The food was. I don't have words to describe how good it was, it was the best Japanese restaurant I've ever been too and highly recommend it! Will definitely be coming back.

Great food, always been a fan of the dinner set - definitely have to book in advance but well worth it!

Oh my gosh, this place was recommended to me and I thank that person for showing me this place. To start we had beautiful service, a drink was offered then the menu was explained. Probably the most tasty food I've ever had in Palmy hands down. There are some great places to eat but if you haven't been here you are missing out! Amazing!

Our favourite place to eat in Palmerston North. Food is amazing. The staff are lovely. Definitely recommend to all.

Wonderful Wonderful food. I was stuffed ar the end of the meal. Everything was just so good. I absolutely love their platters. Always a good idea.

Only place to get ramen in Nelson, by far the best ramen I’ve had in New Zealand. Great staff, great food. Would highly recommend.

We were a group of 4, waited almost two hours for our dinner. I came to talk to the manager. She said something like 'you ordered an hour and half ago, not two hours and others are waiting too'. She had an attitude toward us when my partner complained for the second time about the wait. They couldn't give us an ETA for our food. I understand it was a very busy night but was such disappointing customer service with not even an apology for the situation. Doesn't matter how delicious the food was, we will never go back.

Fabulous experience all round. The food was excellent and the service couldn't have been more attentive yet unintrusive. We had a selection of dishes and shared as a group. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

I just want to say a gigantic thank you to the lovely people that work here. We arrived at 7: 50pm and stayed until 9: 30pm, the food did take a wee while to come out but that was to be expected for the amount of food we ordered, the restaurant says it closes at 9 and the staff put up with us staying and enjoying all the food they offered, food quality was amazing and so tasty. Thank you again.

This is my personal favourite friendly good price lovely shrouding I'll ask for photos next time.
