I loved my weekly fishburger from here. But made the mistake of paying $20.00 for a steak meal that said chips coleslaw and steak. I walked back home excited opened it to find the coleslaw was smothered in tomato sauce! Then had to saw into the steak, like eating leather. Needless to say my dog dined well.

I loved the chicken and corn soup! And my husband really enjoyed his wontons and beef burger & chips, thank you

We were given the wrong order and the kids had touched some of the food when we opened it up before we realised it was the wrong one. I called up and told them we were coming back to pick up the correct order and the owners told me we had to pay the full amount again because the kids had touched the food. After telling them back and forth that it’s ridiculous because it was their mistake, they said I could come and swap the orders without having to pay again. When I got there, the owner lied and told me we had said the wrong order number (we did not) and didn’t even apologise. Wasted our time, petrol, was an inconvenience especially to our hungry kids. Very unprofessional and bad business! I hope they don’t give the food that the kids touched to other customers. I was a regular customer but not anymore.

Just dined in at restaurant for 4 main meals. Decor bit outdated but didn’t worry us. Meals yum (guys loved the fish meal) and great value. Hannah - our hostess was lovely

Went here with my family and omg i was AMAZING, perfect costomer survice deff coming back with my family, deff telling my friends about this place, amzing owners and food, good prices even with inflation.love it

I got food poisoned by their food not being cooked properly. Never coming here ever again. I was really really for two to four weeks because their food poisoned me. I definitely do not recommend Hills Diner or Fish King because their foods are not cooked properly to our standards and we were very sick because of these two fish and chips takeaways food poisoned some of their regular customers.

Even though it was very busy, the food was prepared fast and it was fresh and hot. Very tasty too.

Drive 20 minutes to buy the absolute worst Takeaway I have ever had. I had low expectations when I ordered and they blew me away with old re fried chips, and easily the most feeble effort at sweet n sour pork I have eaten. Eat here if you are sad and have no self esteem, or have a pile of money you’d like to burn for fun.

Best chips in town, happy to alter anything to suit (wonton soup ingredients for instance) Chinese is really nice, soft wontons and sweet and soup pork, smorgasbord is really well priced

Great service, Great food, and if your a fan of crinkle cut chips like myself your in for a treat.

Love this place. The Chinese is amazing and the fish n chips are delicious - ask for extra salt on your chips though

Food is good but getting a bit pricey.have been paying 25.50 for last couple of months for our usual.now over $30: - (

We were just passing through & decided to get a bite to eat. We got some fish & chips & sat outside. Plenty of food for the amount of money we paid.

When you're tired and hungry, food's food. Not bad, but Woodville's "Fish Spot" does it better.

A good place to stop for a quick meal, the prices are just above average, the egg fried rice is really nice and you get alot but the spicy hot box isnt spicy and tastes a bit molassesey or something

Service was fast and friendly but food wasnt up to scratch. Hardly any salt on the chips and thin processed meat patties in the burger
