I'm in a wheelchair and found it easy to maneuver around the aisles. Bought a jacket that was half price was a bonus. The staff are so helpful.

I went in, I'd forgotten my mask, a lady came running from out the back, show me your exemption, oh sorry I've forgotten my mask as we do, just a question, are these long coats on sale, yes she said then proceeded to have a go at the lady at the counter for letting me in, I said I'll just go to my car and get the mask, after all the agro the coat wasn't on sale and her attitude was nasty, lighten up lady, you made it worse than it needed to be

Friendly and helpful staff. Quality items. Only thing would be having everything in stock to trial. Wanted to try on baby backpack/carrier.

AMAZING customer service! Had a broken tent pole, and was given a replacement one for free and 2 extra, plus the lady also thredded the pole for me all free of charge! Staff are just friendly and super helpful and it makes all the difference!

Found some of the pricing hard to find. Confused by so many deals. Left empty handed. Nice to visit though.

Not sure why this place is so popular.maybe it's just the name.find it over priced. Not over excited about there style of clothing.service is fine.maybe it just comes down to personal preference.

This is one of the many generic Kathmandu stores. The Wanganui branch is on the main avenue and is well stocked. I'm afraid to say I only go in when there is a sale or clearance items as I do find some of the equipment and clothing overpriced. I am also aware there is a lot of 'Made in China' stock.

Ok so the ski season is about to effect the climate and the best footwear is from Kathmandu. The ski socks are $50 a pair and what's so great about a fifty dollar pair of socks you may ask? They had added padding for your shins. Snow boarders, skiers know the importance of this added element of elite snow socks, your constantly tilting forwards when wearing your ski boots so the comfort you get from proper snow socks is paramount. Especially if your a Ceroc dancer and enjoy fine dinning and dancing after a solid day sliding the slopes of Whakapapa etc. Kiwi as!

This store is good in most places they always ask you if you need help. And in my opinion I don't like being constantly bothered.

Service was good and helpful. I purchased a jkt and given clear washing instructions, important for long wearability.

Not the right product for us today, but assistant was honest to tell us the product would not be suitable for our needs

Used to like this stuff 10 years ago but its simply overpriced you can buy the same stuff (different brands) offshore or online at a fraction of the price. It's all made in China so your really only paying for the brand name. Check out online stores in Ireland. Much cheaper for a down jacket or vest.

We purchased a Tent from Kathmandu about 6-7 years ago and we’ve given it a fair bit of use every year since then. While camping in Wanganui one of the fibreglass poles broke, we took it into the local store and they repaired it free of charge. Very impressed!
