Knoll Ridge Cafe reviews
48We asked at the bottom of the gondola if the cafe was open and told it was. At great expense we went up to have a lovely late lunch only to find the kitchen closed and a bare handful of food in the cabinets. Very disappointing and we didn't enjoy the cake we got.
Was hanging out for a coffee after a morning of snowboarding and was disappointed to find they didn't have soy milk, not very accommodating for people with dietary issues. Staff was very friendly and helpful though.
Well worth going up the mountain to see the views and enjoy the rest of the shenanigans to offer.keep it up.
Ordered a hot chocolate for $6.75 (incl GST). Could have made a better a better one with a sachet and some hot water. Nice otherwise.
Coffee was okay but at $6.90 for a large flat white that was more the size of a medium, you are paying a premium for the location.
Good value buffet.
For the price ($25), the buffet was pretty good. A good selection of foods for the meat eaters, the vegans, and the sweet tooths.
Staff were really helpful and responsive.
Only downside was that hot drinks need to be ordered separately but honestly, for the price of the meal, that's fine by me.
A delicious coffee and snack up at the Pinnacles today. The brownie was chocolatey and moist. The coffee was full bodied.
I was really pleased to see that the entire takeaway cup was cardboard, including the lid. Nice to see the thought for the environment.
Look forward to having lunch up there tomorrow.
Staff was very helpful and patient. Food was ok, could’ve been better. Not the best Fish and chips or Chicken nuggets and chips I had. It was just OK. However it is understandable amount of people they are catering too. It’s was fully packed. People were waiting for tables. But overall a good experience
A magical snowy paradise. Having a warm hot chocolate whilst gazing at the alpine landscape is something truly special.
It’s a nice cafe at the top of the sky waka. Quite expensive food with 8.50 for a pie. But generally speaking all the food is really good. Lovely building with views of the pinnacles and Te Heuheu valley. Don’t forgot to swipe your season pass to get a good discount!
Food is limited and not overly nourishing. Ended up eating a breakfast yoghurt combo with chips! Such a pity as the facility is excellent.
Good place and beautiful view. The coffee served my drink and didn't activate my device so my drink wasn't as hot as I was expecting when I picked it
Great cafe with amazing views of the pinnacles and the rest of Whakapapa Skifield. The food is a bit overpriced though.
We did the combo of sky waka and buffet lunch $59 great value. The ride to the top was magical so quiet and stunning views. The lunch at the pinnacle restaurant was lovely great variety of food for all tastes and dietary requirements. I can see peck session you will have to book a table, as even off session it was crowded. Very clean facilities.
Just wow. Buffett lunch was amazing, so much to choose from, food was absolutely delicious, we will be back?
Fantast buffet the food was amazing at an amazing price. Staff provided excellent service and very friendly
Loved the trip up the mountain in the sky waka and took our guests up to show them the mountain. A must do once. If I may suggest, it would be good to have bike racks on the lifts and to build a downhill track so the facilities can be enjoyed in summer.
Staff very helpful. Went out of their way to help with breakfast food. Great view and lovely weather today.
Nice chilled area for a coffee / drink.
Slightly over priced and quality is passable. There are some really beautiful views from there as there are huge windows everywhere.
