Kristy's Cafe reviews
58Lovely new owners and great outdoor area for our dogs to join us for breakfast, but the food was a lackluster for our taste. As vegetarians, we were hoping for some more fresh greens with our eggs.
Yummy pies. 7 of us indulged very tasty. Great service. It was recommended to us by my neighbour it didn't disappoint
Had breakfast here this morning and man one of the most heartiest kiwi breakfasts I have had the mushrooms and onions were on point and the sausages were flavorful. The bacon was cooked on point and crispy. Top notch dealing with a difficult member of public when asking for her vaccine pass claiming ignorance. Staff were incredibly.
Love this place. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is yum and vege brekkie delicious. Thank you.
Pies were packed full of flavour and didnt have to break the bank. Very good service and very welcoming.
Wow so beautiful good food good caring staff highly recommended good meals very good prices you don't what you are missing out on good view over park family atmosphere
Staff were so stoned that they could not even take our order properly let alone make it correctly or even in less than half an hour how hard is it to make two cups of coffee.
Tasty and fresh pies, with some awesome customer service! Not forgetting the coffee and ambiance!
05/06/2021 9am brekkie.
What a fantastic place. Super friendly staff and awesome food. Throughly recommend. Well done. Will definitely be back.
Excellent customer service, always smiling and very friendly. Foods is excellent and well priced.
Friendly staff, warm atmosphere, quality coffee, and the gourmet Raetihi pies are well worth a visit. Highly recommended.
Bought coffee - excellent - and a pie. The best pie I've had in a long time. Lots of filling, light pastry and very tasty.
Ordered full kiwi breakfast, delicious. If you aren't a big eater only order a half as a great value meal. Service good and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
It appears somethings never change.
NO STAFF- LONG WAIT
Went for breakfast on way through as it use to be a great cafe. New owners we noticed.
First signs things had changed I guess was to be changed a fee to use credit card.
Ordered our meal straight after another customer, we waited and we waited. The meal for the first customer arrived to their table after 40 minutes, the next meal out was to a couple that arrived 20 minutes after us. We finally got out breakfast after 50 minutes.
It appears to be same problem, one person on counter & making drinks, one person in kitchen. Maybe if they had some staff things may have still be good.
I know for one we will NEVER stop there again, and we will advising others against it.
Such a shame as I said, "use to be a great cafe"
Love the pies they're special. The staff are so friendly, we are regulars. Whanganui needs more places like this.
Went around 9am not much in the cabinet I had a small potato top pie partner had a muffin, found it a bit dry, pie was not bad had better, good sized coffee cups, coffee was good as was service
Awesome place.comfortable surroundings.outside seating
Best pies ever. Will be going back again. Good service.
Its a place to stop not busy or anything the big kiwi breakfast was okay wish there was a little bit more mushrooms and onions than a tablespoon full. For $20 i wouldn't do it again
Always very hospitable.but get ya pies early or theyll be gone. Great range of cooked brunch options
