Only one other couple here. Lovely quiet spot, listening to the river and the cicadas.
Went and checked it out to see the difference between Londons and Bartletts. Both have great grassed areas, good river access, and both have locked toilets March 1 to Oct 31 which is ridiculous, Londons Ford has a great big water shed in the middle of it.
However I prefer Bartletts Ford as it doesnt loose the sun so quickly for the solar panels during winter, but during summer I think both places would be great. Access to Londons Ford is a little sharp for a towed vehicle but otherwise its another great free camping spot.
Great little secret freedom camping area with clean eco toilet and the council even take away your rubbish.
A bit off the beaten track, but if you want to get away from it all, this is the place.
Great well looked after state of the art long drop nice river when you can swim in it and don't forget to bring insect repellent
