Awesome find on a first visit to Whanganui. Nice looking place, friendly and attentive staff, excellent quality food and drinks. Would absolutely recommend if visiting the city.

I can’t quite remember the names of these dishes as the menu changes every now and then. However, delicious.
I can see why they call it mint, because everything about this place is mint! The food, the staff and cleanliness. Don’t be fooled and let your eyes get bigger than your stomach…otherwise you’ll end up like me staggering out the door feeling like Violet Beauregarde. Overall fantastic experience and would recommend the slushy’s but could use a bigger straw…
Great friendly service
Great drinks
Pizzas-we ordered 2
Margarita tasteless
Vegetarian had no carmalised onion or pinenuts = tasteless and not evenly spread what was on it!
Waste of money and expected better than Pizza hut or Dominos for the price
Food was good, but I don't recommend it for lunch on a work-day as the service isn't particularly fast. In fairness there were a dozen of us and it is Covid times.
Enjoy a good feed from Mint they do a good matcha latte. Lively atmosphere & practical with the playground if you have little kids.
We enjoyed cocktails and dinner at Mint tinight with old friends but the service was simply the best I've experienced anywhere in a long time, we'll done.
To be honest not the best of places I've been too, when we walked in the person who greeted us couldn't even manage a smile, wait for coffees was ages considering the place wasn't even busy, partner enjoyed his kai my eggs bene was kind of disappointing as the eggs were over done
Poor table service, too long a wait, ordered drink for after meal, came before. Menu obsessed with cumin throughout. Dish ordered so dry had to ask for dressing to make it edible.
This place is amazing, great food, great drinks, great service and such a funky place to hang out.
We had a group of 10 in today and Mint was humming! We were told our meals would have a wait on them and we weren't that bothered. After a time the staff came down and gave us a platter of cakes as an apologie for the wait time. Amazing service - a lot of cafe's (this from experience) wouldn't have bothered. Meals were lovely and staff were great, as usual. Thanks guys - the happy birthday song from you all was unexpected and lovely. Highly recommend Mint - the whole experience was professional as well as friendly. Staff go the extra mile. Thanks guys - Bean and Sandy
A great place to eat. Loved the curly fries and my standard drink of a coke and raspberry, heavy on the raspberry, was the best I've ever had!
Great place - delicious food and wonderful staff who are always welcoming no matter how busy they are.
If you ever wana find a nice place to have a munch, pop on in to mint caf'e. Their food is beautiful, their staff is very friendly n its in town. I give it a high 5
The staff were super friendly but unfortunately the rest of the experience was mediocre. Service was extremely slow we waiting 1 1/2 hours for our meals which when served were quite disappointing. Even drinks were taking along time to be served. All in all dissatisfied and would not recommend
Awesome place with lovely views of some of Whanganui's historical buildings. Great place to relax at the end of a work day.
1st time there today having brunch with big group. Great food andstaff were friendly also. Special mention to the young lady with all the tattoos and blonde spikey hair, awesome personality and a credit to the business. We will be back again
A friend of mine recommended this place for a brunch. I had The Crying Tiger Thai Beef Salad. Despite its unusual name, it was delicious. The coffee we ordered were great, too - we ordered our seconds. The only thing I wish was the outside area towards the square wasn't the best - the individual table was on an awkward slope, and the long table was right underneath some bird-friendly trees - we had a surprise drop.
