Ocggi Sushi reviews
14Absolutely delicious! This is our choice for the best sushi in Palmy. Their sushi just seems to have more flavour. The fillings are generous, the rice perfectly cooked and fresh, and they make their own teriyaki sauce (Yum!). Also the chicken sticks are delicious. Add a Miso soup. Very highly recommended.
How? Just how could you only give 4 peas in a chicken teriyaki? In an era where we are increasingly encouraged to be eating healthy this is kinda ridiculous.
The biggest sushi fan ever and it wasn't to bad love seaweed and raw fish customer service was all good just wasn't enough selections
Sushi here is extremely dry. I would not recommend this sushi and much prefer to go anywhere else! I've tried many many sushi places and this store is by far the worst.
Very sad sushi.rice was dry, the 'teriyaki' chicken was overcooked to hell and tasted of nothing and the avocado was mushy and brown. The tastiest part of the roll was the seaweed. Even the wasabi was fake and wasnt spicy! I bought 8 peices and could only manage to eat 4 before deciding it wasnt worth the rest.
If you want a chewy sad excuse for sushi, this is the place for you, otherwise steer clear!
I had Takoyaki from their stall in the Plaza. Tasted okay but it was obviously there for too long because I was dead nauseas for the remainder of the day. Vomiting was averted but its not an experience I would ever like to repeat.
Had great sushi with my family today and hubby accidentally left his phone there. Really appreciate the staff that handed it into centre security. Thank you!
Tasty inari + vege rolls. Sometimes they look and feel like they've been sitting out in room temperature for a while though.
Delicious flavour, great presentation and friendly customer service. However chicken was a little bit pink on the bone and sushi was a little on the dry side. Very scrumptious though.
Consistently good tasting food with a range of sushi and hot items. The sushi is fresh and never dried out or falling apart like some other places. Super convenient to grab a box of sushi on the run, or sit and enjoy the buzz of the food court. The staff are always friendly and polite. Definitely recommend.
Worst experience I've ever had at a sushi shop. The food was meh and the owner was rude. Highly recommend going to Yatai for real Japanese sushi.
You could not hope for a friendlier place to go at eat at. All the staff are happy and always ready to help. There is not only just sushi too. There is also a lot of chicken products and fried seafood. Really tasty too
Quality control issues, hair in food, consistency, same knives used to cut both cooked chicken and raw salmon sushi rolls leading to bright metallic sheen on chicken sushi.
Busy shop located in the plaza food court. Not a lot of varieties but sushi tastes pretty good. The only fault I have is their rice is too squashed like rice cakes which is not the best texture for sushi.
