WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! They overcharged me from the price that was originally stated! My car was stolen and I had to use a taxi to get home I realised my home keys were on the keyring and I needed to go into town - could have provided a little extra too, and after I seen my bank statements a few days later, which he used my card on my behalf anyway, because I was upset that my car had been stolen) he entered in more then we agreed anyway $7 more, we went to my landlords to get my keys, I noticed they were closed anyway and I said can you just take me home please and he drove off and said no I can’t. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I HAD TO WALK HOME FROM TOWN and the manager who won’t deal with anything or refund me is the rudest person on earth! Who just says why blame that on us? Lol I’m not but at-least take a person home for the agreed amount, and not say why did you not call another cab when my phone was locked out and my car was stolen, and why should I when we agreed on a certain amount to begin with and I was overcharged? Never deal with these people! They can’t even refund $32 dollars for a horrible experience and making in walk/hitch home. Rhonda you have no human decency at all! Doesn’t hurt to be kind either! Wish I could give 0 stars! Will be taking this further to public relations and I want my money back!

I would give it a negative driver ran a red light at ingester and Victoria ave lights had my little kids in the car too split second from causing major or fatal crash the driver ran the light at pace too not 50km more like 60 70

Not happy with service. On 5 occasions requested cab through their phone system. Waiting time was anywhere between 30 - 40 minutes. On two occasions rang the operator who told me my name didn't show up on the wait list. They need to sort out their system.

Friendly, reliable, honest and trustworthy. Booking was super easy and taxi exactly on time.

First class service involving a three stop return shuttle. Timing spot on and on both trips drivers sent a text message advising of their anticipated arrival. Friendly, courteous service.

First taxi in 50 years. On time and took me right where I wanted to be. I might not leave so long till the next time.

Pre booked for pick up three times with this company, first time never showed leaving me stranded at the airport. Second time 45 mins late so missed a specialist appointment and third time we cancelled due to being late for pre booked pick up. Being unreliable and couldn’t risk missing a flight. Unfortunately the only taxi service in Whanganui. If a taxi is pre booked for priority they should always arrive on time. Not good enough.

Today I was waiting outside Goldsbury Optometrist wanganui for taxi for 2 hours picking Me up from I rung up at 11: 40 to 1: 30 pm I am not happy thank you

Sometimes getting a taxi can be so expensive, like from bell street to maccas $15? ! Without playing w card.

I've used this cab service many times in Whanganui and the quality of the ride varies widely. If you can get a car to come out they are good (but expensive) but two out of the last three times I have booked a cab they have been late / not arrived. Unfortunately they are the only option in Whanganui so you can like em or lump em

My elderly father used this company for a trip to the hospital and the 5 km distance cost him $70! Absolute disgrace charging pensioners this.

I had to take a cabe to Palmerston north yesterday and it was very good service the texi drive was Allan Word he is a very nice drive and very polite diver

Tryed to get a taxi. But at no time during the booking process were we able to select a van as we had seven people. So we had to use two taxis which cost twice as much. Upon speaking to the driver we lernt all calls are handled from palmaston north. Very sub standard service. Where is the local person answering the phone. Alot of improvement needed. Won't use again. We also waited over an hour and a half for a taxi to turn up at all.

Very fast service, lovely driver I think her name was Rosina. She gave me a courtesy call to say she was there.

Very efficient business. Just a automatic call to order a pickup, and a text message to let you know when you're going to be picked up.

My elderly sister gets a taxi from the same place to come home several times a week unfortunately the costs vary from$18 to$10 I have rung rivercity cabs to query these descrepencies but no answer just a sudden change in price. I wonder what happens to other at risk people. Would appreciate other's input as rivercity cabs don't seem to want to discuss it

Worst taxi experience, booked taxi then waited half an hour before phoning company who advised taxi yet to be dispatched and unable to advise when we might be picked up. Single women then walked home. Seriously disappointed with service and customer relations. Consumers beware
