53Cute diner booths, my large coffee to go is the largest I’ve ever had! My partner said their potato top was ‘unbelievably good’. $15.50 for eggs, bacon, hash browns, mushrooms - value for money
Good to have a bakery option. But looks dirty, which isn't ideal when you're selling food. Clean windows and display cabinets would go a long way for the atmosphere.
Didn't end up buying any food for the reasons above, but a reasonable selection.
Hubby said coffee weak and bitter
*photo doesn't really do show it in detail, should've got a better pic
Great selection of foods for all requirements. Friendly service & great foods at a really good price.
Delicious food choices, but the carpark is so dull of deep potholes I feared breaking something on my car. Need to spend a bit of money filling them in, if not resealing it
The worst coffee I've ever had in my life. Incredibly pale and tasted like sugary milk so I seriously question if there was any coffee in it at all.
Threw out and bought another one in Sanson.
Called in for a steak and cheese pie. Was nice and hot however there was no cheese and the pie was mostly pastry, dry and distasteful
Great baking, best macaroni cheese ever!
One star off as more attention to presentation of the premises would be appreciated.
We will return and hopefully the redecoration has completed etc
Stopped in for quick bite and a coffee at 245pm on menu board said menu finishes at 3pm was told no we not cooking which was no drama as we got cabinet food, was then told coffee machine was cleaned and turned off but as sitting down and eating our food another lady arrived ordered a coffee and yes you guys made it for her, what’s with the lies? Clearly yous couldn't be bothered wouldn't recommend going here should be a zero star
Great to see a food shop last some time at this location. Large array of savoury and sweets. Steak and cheese pie was very well done with nice flavoursome steak chunks. Sandwich chicken was a bit dry, while lacking flavour in the whole sandwich. Female toilets were also in need of a good clean.
Not good at all! The pies were old the filling was BLACK! The marshmallows in my hot drink were hard. I'd say they're pushing food for sale way past its use by date.
First time I have ever stopped here and I wasn't disappointed. I bought the cheese and onion sandwiches and a seafood pie. The sandwiches were fresh with nice cheese and chunks of onion. The pie was one of the best I have ever had from a bakery. Fresh, light, moist pastry with a delicious filling. Bakery pies can often be dry and crusty but this was just perfect and I will definitely be back again for these two offerings.
Food was reasonable. BUT the mens toilet stank way beyond what I thought would be possible. Question
Was the kitchen clean?
The best pies I’ve ever had I’ve had some In Tauranga and Rotorua and other pie shops in Foxton and this the best one
Great coffee, great pies and slices. Excellent value. I highly recommend you don’t drive past, you will be surprised.
Great selections to either sit in or takeaway.service with a honest smile and pies a pretty good too
Bit disappointed today. I came in, was asked for my covid passport and provided it. Left to eat outside and had two other customers come to me saying no one else in the bakery was asked for their passport just me and they sat inside eating. They felt that I had been targeted. Also I had already touched the food I was buying before being asked, not sure what would happen if I didn't have the passport would the food then be wasted. Maybe ask everyone for their passport, prior to touching the food with our hands. Food was good tho
Great little Cafe. Good chips, nice pies, excellent milkshakes. Huge selection, nice outdoor area
Lots of choices. Breakfasts, pancakes, toasted sandwiches, pies, chips, macaroni cheese sausages, cakes slices and tea coffee and milkshakes
Great service best food from a cafe my partner and I have had while travelling New Zealand can’t wait to come back:)
I brought 2 packs of sandwiches, the first one was ham, the ham looked like 3 pieces but open it and it wasn’t, it was made to look like you had 3 full pieces of ham. The other was a chicken sandwich and the bread just crumbled as soon as I tried to pick it up. I have no idea what type of bread it was and why they are using different types. Coffee was also burnt, I was very disappointed.
