Tandoori Bite

Just stopped by for a quick dinner on our trip into whanganui. Prompt service, great and light food - had Punjabi chicken which was almost home like.tasty and light.above all great value for money. Recommend for a good Indian meal.

I had lunch and they delivered me the most creamy butter chicken i have had. Service with a smile and I will be back very soon.

Came late for a meal. We were made very welcome. Awesome service, friendly and attentive waiter. Food was delicious! Highly recommend.

Food was delicious but the only problem we had was the lack of quantity of the meat in the curry, as we paid fair amount of money. I have to say there’s no issues with a food, it was so tasty. Keep the good food and service guys but just for the future reference you guys should look into putting some decent amount of protein into the curries.

Tandoori Bite is by far my favourite restaurant in Wanganui. I have gone there way too often over the last 2 years and i'm still not sick of it Haha. The butter chicken is so yum and creamy i could nearly drink the damn sauce on it's own. The staff are so lovely. There is a well liked pokies joined into the restaurant with a separate menu of Indian cuisine, a bar on both sides. Comfortable setting. Would highly recommend tandoori bite for a night out

Was the base of the jalfrezi, tomato soup? Awful. They have done away with Indian food and any spices or fresh ingredients, trimming back costs to bring you a laughable lunch. Hey, they're in business to sell food. People keep turning up I suppose. I know, 100%, that the cooks and staff wouldn't dream of eating something like they offer there, at home. Hilarious. Check it out. It's worth $25 to puzzle at just how crazily bad this supposed Indian food, is. They might as well have said it was Italian! A Jalfrezi without green chillies is like.well.go see for yourself.

Delicious food and amazing service, they really know their stuff and cater to everybody's needs, I highly rate them!

Food with full of cream, sugar and color.dark ambience.worst part is they run slot machines in the same premises therefore clients who come there looks dodgy. Not at all a family friendly.

Sorry to say but the last two naan bread I got was thick and doughy. The web doesn’t allow me to pick which drinks I want, so we end up with whatever they bring us.

So damn tasty! Ordered 4 different curries all were spectacular.mild butter chicken, med Lamb Rogan josh, med Beef Madras and hot chicken vindaloo.

Sadly this was not a good meal for us. First we got given a plate we didn't order. We got told that we didn't have to pay. When the meal came that we did order it had no taste.

Worst experience ever in my life with any restaurant as per standard of name of place, pepper chicken tottly tasteless and paneer chili medium hot but it was sweet like sugar in that, customer service zero percent. They just concern to make food doesn't matter about taste and customer satisfaction. I do not feel to give one star even. Not recommending anyone if you come all the way from different city and want to try something good.

Sadly the worse Indian take away I have ever had, tasteless, Ordered butter chicken and vegetable korma, 1 garlic naan bread, did not taste any garlic at all, minimun amount of chicken and the vege korma stated fresh vegetable on the menu, but tbey were not.there was no seasoning, bland bland.in fact gross.chucked it all out, waste of $36

Well would have to say its the best lamb korma I've ever had in New Zealand, let alone Whanganui. Would highly recommend, the butter chicken was dam good too.

Absolutely fabulous! The curries have a rich and smooth flavor and the naan is made with skill. My husband and I came back again and again to try more of their lovely dishes, and the young woman working is so friendly and welcoming! Thank you for your delicious food and caring service.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better Butter Chicken anywhere in the country. Highly recommended.
