Excellent service Carol is awesome! They always seem happy to see you and they make the best Mac n cheese!

The Verdit food cabinet had a good selection to choose from but we opted for the Breakfast and Nacho

First time going, food was amazing, building is amazing, love the up stairs and the area for the kids

Came here 2 weeks ago and excellent food and service. Quite busy today. Unfortunately tables left uncleared for the whole time we were there. It seemed that there weren't enough staff. Disappointed. Hopefully next time!

The Verdict in Palmerston North is well known for its quality, variety, price and friendliness of owner and staff.
When The Verdict was still in the old building, we were very regular visitors (although living overseas) as were our parents. Our parents passed away over the past two years but we still come and enjoy good food in an enjoyable atmosphere.
Try the Big Breakfast, delicious. The plate on the first photo is half a portion as my wife and I split the breakfast deal.

Wow, just wow! Fantastic food at regular prices with friendly staff. The biggest portions I've seen and the taste was equally as big. I probably shouldnt write this because now everyone will go here and I wont be able to get my lovely lunch!

The barista here Laura was above and beyond with her vibrant and happy attitude!
Making you feel welcomed she even gave directions and advice for other places to see and went out of her way to make sure you enjoyed your visit there!

Great service, comfortable atmosphere, nice food and fast service. Plenty of space and areas to choose from to eat (inside, outside, upstairs, downstairs). Love the space available for tamariki to play and explore, definitely a safe and child friendly cafe/restaurant!

Gave me pretty severe food poisoning. Had driven over from Masterton for the day.wasnt a good trip home lol

I had a veggie sandwich and my partner had the one with chicken, we also got raspberry cheescake and it was sooooooo delicious. Friendly staff, nice and cozy place for a brekkie. Definitely can recomend!

The owner was so rude to us today probably heard us speaking another language and was not helpful or friendly at all. I was corrected when I didn’t pronounce Almond correctly - being deaf it’s really hard some days to pronounce certain words. My parents experienced the same treatment. It’s a shame that people are treated this way. We all want a racism free New Zealand. If you’re a foreigner Living/Touring in NZ rather go somewhere else.

They play inappropriate content for 1 and 2 year olds on their TV (verdict have a look at the age restriction on the movie) and when I wanted to talk to the staff about it they silenced me because I’m not considering the other customers children which was all my 2 toddlers age. Won’t support this business again. Poor customer service.

This cafe has a lovely atmosphere, the food is good and the date scones are superb.
Customer service lets it down sometimes, probably because they're so busy with only one person serving.

Delicious daily special, nicely served. Good coffee. Pleasant music. Friendly staff. Wonderful place with the view of the park.

Went to verdict for first time in years for my birthday. Ordered an iced latte with ice instead of icecream and oat milk as I am lactose intolerant, tasted different but didn’t think much of it until an hour later when I was thankful to be near a bathroom, spent birthday afternoon in pain and on toilet as it was def not oat milk but cows milk. Be wary here if you have dietary needs.

This is a great cafe, an amazing selection of foods and meals.the service is fantastic.would highly recommend The Verdict Cafe.
Just had lunch, haven't been for a while, the range of food items is great, you could even grab something for your dinner, take it home and heat it, staff are great very accommodating another 5

My son turned 5 this week and we visited for breakfast. I got to talking with the woman who served us and mentioned it was his birthday. She brought out a wee treat for him with a candle to blow out. It was a simple gesture but it really made our day, especially being they were short staffed. Thank you

Great food and venue. But when busy there's a very long wait in the queue to be served at the counter.
