For an authentic Indian experience this is not the place to go, For a nice Fred of sushi or Ramen this is where you want to go. Great value for money and excellent friendly service.

Amazing food and fantastic service. Wife had Chicken Teriyaki bowl and I had Chicken Katsu bowl. Amazing fusion of flavours and very filling. Will definitely be back to try the other dishes.

Changing my review because it's no longer under the same ownership. The new menu is tiny and the food is no longer authentic Indian. Super sad to see the owners go as this was my favourite Dannevirke restaurant.

Was very pleased with the food. Had chicken tandori. Very well priced. Will make the effort to time our travel break to a have futher meals here. Menu can be viewed on line.

This place has really nice tables and really soft chairs. There are heaps of options of what to eat and plenty of them are vegetarian which is good for people like me. The food is also pretty cheap and is amazing quality. This is a must go to restaurant in Danniverke

Awesome service, especially considering we ordered something that takes 10-15 minutes, 5 minutes before closing. Food is great as well.

Staff are so lovely, they even brought some toys over for our toddler to play with so we could eat while she was entertained. Food was excellent

Don't judge a book by its cover. Even though the shop front may not look like a 5 star restaurant, the food and the staff surpass all expectations. The food is amazing. Well balanced, great portion sizes (you definitely won't leave hungry), and it doesn't hurt the pocket. We will definitely be stopping here for dinner again the next time we go through Dannevirke. A hidden gem that needs more recognition.

I had a double good experience, the owner was close to go home when I asked if I could have my dinner, he was very nice and helpful, the food was even nicer, if you pass by take the chance to try this place.

Called in for dinner on the way home from Wellington after reading the reviews. We just wanted somewhere to sit and relax to break our trip and have a good feed that didn't cost the earth. Wasn't disappointed at all. The food tasted amazing and was plentiful, the service was extra friendly and he made us feel right at home and it was very reasonably priced. Thanks so much to them and we will definitely call in there again next time we are passing through.

The owner, Neil was super friendly and great authentic Indian food, heaps of naan and all the curry was excellent.

Absolutely delicious food - highly recommended! We had the Kadai Paneer and Paneer Madras with Garlic Naan and Onion Kulcha - everything was a 10/10 and will definitely be returning next time we are in the area!

First time ordering from here. Lamb Korma was awesome and family enjoyed the mixed meat on fries. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be making a return trip.
