Hired a truck to move our son to a flat in Wellington. Was given a truck that probably shouldn't have been allowed on the road as it wallowed all over the show. Also passenger door controls broken so window couldn't open and door unable Tobe locked from outside. Passenger side step unstable and truck was unclean inside. Dropped truck off at night after filling tank and next day credit card was charged an extra $52 for " not filling tank to their satisfaction " even though we filled it right up at petrol station. Will not be using this company again!

Cheapest cars and trucks around. Attracts many bottom feeders. Bad reviews tend to reflect poor self esteem. Highly recommend.

Easy to rent trucks. No issues and they were helpful and clear with what needed to be done.
We hired a truck from here to move and this experience was hassle free.

Will never use this company again to hire a moving van. I thought it was great I could drop off after hours so I did that. Shortly after my return was processed I had another charge on my credit card which I queried. They claimed I busted a light, which I did not, and proceeded to take money from me without even telling me. They never informed me of the damage when they "found it" and I believe that they are lying and putting fleet management expenses through as damage caused by the customer. I requested their complaints policy or a complaints form multiple times and they ignored my requests. I even sought legal advice and unfortunately, it's not illegal, but their operation/procedures are unethical.

Car ran fine despite the fact that the tank wasn’t completely full at pickup, a week after they charged my credit card again without my knowledge and claimed I had damaged the wind screen, I had no incident whilst using the car so must have been an existing fault, disappointed with honesty and communication.

I rented a car for a fair price. The car wasn't that new, but it worked perfectly. But unfortunately, almost a week after the rent, I was charged a fee claiming I hadn't filled up the tank, which I'm pretty sure I did. I paid twice for the fuel, without being asked about it! Disappointed!

Cheapest rental about. Friendly helpful staff, were fine about having the car for an extra day and didn’t question how the car key broke. Straight forward no fuss!

Terrible service, hired a truck for furniture removal. Brakes didn’t work, 2nd gear didn’t work, very hard to get into gear, all other gears extremely hard to find, truck shouldn’t be on the road! Rung to complain and voice my issues, didn’t care & said “ yeah when I used the truck last the brakes were a bit dodgy “
No not recommend!

They didn't show me how to use the tail lift properly, it was dangerous and flew up quickly and broke itself, I got charged $300 for damage I didn't even do

Little contact from them to try and solve this, $300 for 50 mins of labour for them to fix it and no parts used, they could have told me I'd have to pay for this and I would have cut the hireage short but they let me carry on for a couple of days and took my money a week later, also took 2 weeks to give back the bond that they did owe me

Bad communication, dangerous old truck, no training, its not because I'm dumb either, I drive trucks everyday, just was faulty and I got charged

We moved 2 weeks ago and used udrive to move. Were charged $130 up front but we were refunded $20 within the week as we used less kms. Truck came with a back lift and a barrow trolley which was so helpful.
2 downsides: I did the online booking but never heard if it had gone through so I had to ring to see if the booking was confirmed which they then told me they needed a credit card number to confirm which it didn't say on the booking form. Also we got a manual truck we weren't given an option for an auto which we would've preferred. Otherwise I would recommend udrive just ask for an auto if you want one.

Our car failed a wof due to a buckle in our tyre, we were recommended by a family to get our tyres taken care of by the guys down at The Discount tyre shop. Fearing we would be slammed with a huge expensive bill, it wasn't the case at all. They gave advice on situation of the car and what was best for it, then when i told him we were low on cash he recommended that they did a good deals on 2nd hand tyres to which suited us best.in less than 30mins our cars was done our warrant passed & now at least i know I can always go back if we ever needed a tyre/s. Highly recommend them! Good for your buck:) #studentlife
