VINZ - Vehicle Inspection NZ - Palmerston North

Very disappointed got charged for having older vehicle and failed on mager stuff got fixed vehicle drives unsafely now (weaving all over the road) but they put cof on now so they made it more unsafe but it past I don't understand I thought it was a safety check

Loverly people. Good service. Motor homes use carters tyre drive that’s just round the corner. Easy to get to.

I dropped my car off, picked it up later easy peasy. Staff are polite and friendly. Best place in Palmerston North.

Got my WoF for another year
However, would have been great if I had been told about the wait time ahead. Options of leaving and picking up when ready would have been better.
The waiting room seats have no frame to push one's self up. Having a disability, getting up from a seating position is very hard even with crutches.
However, the technician was very nice and made a recommendation for future reference. I would go back again

Guys where great.receptionist tho.nasty and didn't ask if I was a NZMCA member.asked other clients. Won't be back

Once you've been to one they've all the same, wait for vehicle to go through, pass or work required

Car failed at first, but extremely helpful and given good advice, got it on the recheck, thanks guys

Went for a wof the lady behind the counter did not know about costumer services was and was not in a good mood and it definitely showed.but the guy doing the wof was really nice and informative.

Good friendly people. Only went there to register the bike. At least they take cash, not like VTNZ.

Had a 3 & a half hr wait to get a re-check on my truck. Very short staffed but not their fault, the guys that did go to work were flat out the whole time I was in line they'll be off sick soon from being exhausted!

It would help if technicians actually new the rules and requirements.making stuff up does not count.don't take your car here.

There was a bit of a queue so I left car here for a couple hours. They rung me when car was ready. Awesome service and friendly, helpful lady at reception.

Rude and unprofessional lady at the reception. I think they are getting too busy.obviously don’t care about losing a few potential customers. Won’t be back.

They need to know the rules before they fail a vehicle, they caused a lot of stress and I lost a day trying to sort there mistakes

I have to be honest. Staff at recipietiom were absolutely immaculate.
But there was one guy with just one eye who I feel no pity toward cause he was absolutely horrible and I believe he deserves to have no job that deals with people. Absolutely awful man. Needs to be removed from the business as I believe he is ruining it.

Lovely freindly receptionist with a group of very helpful and sensible technitions on the shop floor.

Sent our car for a wof. In and out in less than 30 mins. People appear unfriendly, but they’re alright once you have a conversation with them.
