Havelock Marina reviews
40Pretty little marina. Parked the car there for the mail boat trip. It is $7. For a full day. I used the honesty box which is cash very cute. But there is a card machine down far left as you face the marina near to the mail boat office. Gets pretty busy / full over summer holidays.
Great marina with good parking, fishing is awesome, kingfish are in at the moment with good numbers being reported, especially around the crail bay area.
A good place for sight seeing and checking out the sceneries but there is no place to go for fishing. Just passing by with my partner.
Fascinating mix of boating activity here. Commercial, industrial and leisure. Always something interesting happening. Lots of interesting bird life nearby too.
We went for a walk around the Marina, admiring the names.of the boats. On a sunny day this place is a great place to hang out.
Only visiting and not a boat owner but looks like a good marina with all the usual facilities.
Havelock marina is the safest in the country being furthest from the open sea. The facilities are excellent and the staff helpful and friendly.
I love Havelock such a lovely place going down to marina on your right is a mussel restaurant & they have the most amazing mussel pies? & awesome mussel meals a must to visit
Steve and Anthony provide a friendly professional service.
They will help out with lines and information about local service's.
Great clean and well run marina.
Great marina, good clean facilities for berth holders. Friendly team of staff. Lots of parking for trailer boats.
Good place to chill on the seats provided if you like to watch the boats and feed the ducks and gulls
Awesome setting, great food, heaps of parking handy. Going through Havelock recommend stopping here to get energised.
For the "Mussel Capital" of NZ battled to find mussel to buy other than on pies etc. Perhaos Covid related as cant be sold loose?
Shared a platter for two of freshly shucked Mussels cooked in beer batter, crumbed and au natural. Very delicious lunch at Mills Bay Mussels in the Marina
There's usually an abundance of parking, as well as toilet/shower and boat cleaning facilities.
What a dreamy place. Almost don't want to hype it up too much because I want to move there in the future because of how beautiful, wholesome and we'll situated this place is and I know more people will think the same as soon as they spend time around here, sheeeeeeeesh
