Haven Cafe

Quaint little place that is young family friendly, outdoor play area and drink was okay when finally delivered. My order was forgotten and it wasn't busy, I didn't have coffee just a lemon ginger drink which wasn't that great just okay. Didn't try the food.

Food was alright options were ok but staff was horrible to me she put the plate at me in a way i thought she is gonna throw it at me, when I asked for the sauce she looked at me in a nasty way and said help yourself its there and walked off never gonna go back to this place ever

Good coffee and a great selection of cabinet food ready to have there or take away. Really nice indoor or outdoor tables and fun playground for the kids

Lovely setting and very child friendly. Just driving through and selected based on previous reviews and was not disappointed. Not in the middle of town so parking not a problem. Coffee was superb and food lovely (Kai breakfast and French toast). Service was exceptional and speedy. Highly recommend and if we are ever back in Blenheim will be back again. Thanks for a terrific start to our day!

Muffin was undercooked - very 'doughy'. Coffee strong and bitter. On the plus side I was very impressed with the staff, they refunded my muffin which was very nice surprise. Great service.

They really look out for my Mum and Sister. The staff treat thier customers like family, what a great crew

Waited 45 minutes before asking how much longer the food would take, only to be told they hadn’t started making it. Upon asking for a receipt to ensure I had been refunded correctly, the rude staff member had just mumbled the amount before abruptly walking away without so much as an apology. I’d sooner eat at Denny’s before returning. Terrible experience.

Have been there twice now admittedly in the afternoon and the cabinet food was good but not much of it. Coffee and carrot cake both good. Will have to go d4 12 to see what the cabinet is like when fully sto ked

Always love this place. Great food, great coffee, great service, great places to sit either inside or out.

Stopped in to meet a friend, good friendly service, great variety of food, nice coffee.

A great cafe with an amazing choice of foods and drinks. Lovely friendly staff, very welcoming. I would definately recommend this cafe. It has a lovely children's play area which is very secure. Both indoor and outdoor dining.

Went there for lunch today. Coffee's were luke warm. Asked for them to be heated but they re made them. Luke warm again. Had eggs benedict and french toast. Was delicious but meals were only just warm. Staff were lovely.

Huge selection of cabinet food and cakes, looks amazing, and variety to suit many diets!
Coffee roast never tastes the greatest served black, a bit earthy, could benefit from a lighter roast. Perhaps the team could offer a couple of different roasts on the menu "Organic" and "House blend" for example, which is common in other coffee shops. I'm a house blend kinda guy.
Outdoor seating isn't the best, you feel like you're jammed into a kindergarten some days. Perhaps they could build a new patio area outside the main door with a bit of wind shelter.
Will keep coming back here nevertheless!

Came for breakfast and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked eggs, great coffee. Got some cabinet food to go which I'm currently eating right now and I'm honestly blown away at how good my quiche and cheesecake are. I stopped in as I was traveling through and I'm sad I can't go back. Eat here!

Excellently handled - especially given the Covid-19 regulations. French toast for breakfast had just the right amount. Staff were bubbly and happy to be there

Had a group of 5 of us. Bought coffee, milkshake and food. Coffee came first before anything else. Then 7mins later the tea and then after 14mins waiting for the food (only to be toasted), there were 2 of them in the cabinet only to tell tell us last mintue that they had sold and had to make new ones. Really need to improve on service timing, especially if there is an group of people.

They did do complementary free coffee cards which is considerate, most cafes would just apologize.

Breakfast and coffee was amazing, what was even better was the warm hospitality from the staff working here. I forgot my purse with my wallet in it and realized after an hour so I called them and they said they spotted it and immediately kept it safe for my return. So very grateful for the good people at Haven Cafe! Thank you so much again!

Awesome place to take your toddler because it has an outdoor play area that is fully fenced while you enjoy nice coffee and amazing food. Service is excellent, staff are polite.

Good coffee but can be very noisy particularly for those a bit hard of hearing. Staff and food good but not the place for a cosy chat.

Lovely coffee. Yummy sweet custard squares. Heaps of GF, DF, V, Ketto options to choose from. Nice little fenced off area for the kids outside and still cozy and private inside. Central in a nice little shopping center.
