Omaka Classic Cars reviews
18 Lovely place, shame they are selling a bunch of their cars.
Viewing by appointment only as they don't have enough volunteers to run it. Give them a call prior and you should be all set.
Such a great collection on NZs street cars over the years. Felt very old to see my first car in there.hahaha! Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable and loved chatting to the people restoring & working on cars out the back.
A great place with some outstanding vehicles beautifully maintained, the best part was seeing cars I used to have when I was young.
Fantastic opportunity to see original exceptionally well presented vehicles from the 1950 to 1980
They are closed for covid but don't tell you that! Only a small note on the door to say closed until further notice. Very disappointing they can't put a better effort into letting people know!
Awesome car collection brought some great memories back. Well priced my daughter got a big kick out of seeing it and hearing the stories.
Great place, pleasant staff and beautiful vehicles.
Well worth the visit and the cars are rare! Not just run of the mill cars. Even the Morris Minor was a very early MM before they lowered the power of the beast!
Well worth the visit, will do it again.
Really cool cars on display. Great way of understanding what New Zealand's cars used to look like. A great trip down memory lane.
Wonderful display of classic cars, in their original condition. Like walking back in time. Well worth the visit!
Staff are pleasant and knowledgeable about New Zealand vehicles and their heritage. The morris minors covered many years and the jaguars were superb.
This is a pleasant and delightful place to visit and spend an hour or two viewing gorgeous cars in excellent condition with pertinent and interesting information.
Quite enjoyed this museum, especially the fact that you're allowed to open the bonnets and truly look around the cars!
Very worth while vist, the staff on duty were very helpful and I would highly recommend dropping in to view there fantastic range of cars.
If you love English cars, go down memorary lane. It really is a big boys creche. A delight to the eye and memory
Totally enjoyed the huge nostalgia blast- Walking thru the ccllection was like meeting up with a lot of long lost "old friends"
Very nice exhibition of cars from the 1950s onwards. Many still in original condition. They have one hall and a free work shops, but are preparing a second hall as they possess of so many cars. Many are english brands but also holden, datsun, isuzu as well as some french brands. Very worth to pay a visit if you are interested in nostalgic cars.
Awesome selection of cars! Love the E-type, but there's lots of cool stuff that's just a unique. Definitely worth the trip!
Lots of cars from my childhood, all in exceptional condition. Probably only of interest to NZers growing up in the 60s and 70s, and classic car enthusiasts.
Visited, loved it. Really affordable! Decent cars and great host/owner. 2 sheds and more of historical kiwi collection of cars.
