21Just drove into town to tank up, says they are open until 11pm, 8.55pm now they are closed suprise suprise.won't tank up there tmrw. NPD here we come.
Stated opening hours until 11 pm, was there a little after 7 pm and they said they were closed
Good service over the counter but I feel that the car wash side is a littel corrupt because use that a few times be for geting The works car wash and I just had this one done and it was much quicker than usual I checked the receipt and it was correct so just be careful people
Busiest time of day and one staff member trying to do coffee, purchases, gas bottles and look after the forecourt. Although he was doing his best, hopeless service at one of Nelson’s busiest fuel stops
$3.33 a litre for 98, disgusting and blatant overpricing, have a think about people who are struggling, wish people would all just go elsewhere
Rude barista and burnt coffee, a shame we didn't try the coffee before getting on the road for a two hour journey. Cheers WildBean.
So the cleaner has his cleaning stuff in the seating area then takes mop head that was on the comfy chairs to do the toilet floors, lol nice 1 bp nelson:)
I liked the service, there employees always there to help, especially when I seen them go out of there way to help out an elderly couple get there items, Kudos,
Staff are pleasant and friendly - but!
Twice I have filled up here and paid, only to find an additional amount added to the bill for a non-existent snack item. Only spotted because I asked for a receipt. The extra was refunded when I raised the issue.
Great service, friendly staff and super clean bathrooms comparing to all north and south islands stations!
20 Litres of 98 Octane just cost me over $6 more than 20 Litres of 100 Octane from NPD self service would. Is it really worth 31c a litre more for someone to take the money by hand. If I'd seen the price before I'd started pumping I wouldn't have got any. I don't expect the other stations to be cheaper though just didn't realise how cheap NPD actually is for self service high octane full.
Having just driven around NZ, we can confirm that this is the worst run petrol station in the country, the bins are always full, I have seen the same rubbish in the bins after 2 days, the water containers and window washers are always empty, the large blond female wearing black in the mornings HATES customers and after meeting the manager I can see why this place is so bad, he is an idiot. BUT there is good news.the place up the road is 10c pr ltr cheaper than this moron run operation.
Staff are slow to pull them selves off secondary tasks, like stocking up, in order to do their main task - serve customers. Appeared to be nobody in charge directing staff. Dissapointing considering the premium prices paid at Connect sites.
You guys are really good petrol station. But do smth with your wet puddles which are just near the filling hoses. Once you get off the car, you step right in it (pictures added). Even during the not rainy days. I really got fed up with that. Can you imagine how "pleasant" it is when you are wearing your flip flops. Thank you in advance.
I filled my car Sunday (02/09/18) afternoon, went to the counter to pay and said "I may as well use the car wash while I'm here", (yes, I should have mentioned the petrol, but, the attendant is supposed to turn on the pump, so I expected him to know), he then said, "is there anything else? ", to which I said, "no". When I went to wave my card, I realized that it was only for the car wash, so I said, "sorry, there's the petrol".
He said, (in a condescending tone) "I asked you if you wanted anything else". So, it was all up to me to tell him exactly what I wanted, and therefor it was my fault.
Never a wait at the pump previded your heading south bound and a wild bean cafe which is handy if your that way inclined
Gas pump should prompt how much fuel you need, just an arrow pointing to the number pad would be more efficient. Attendant was friendly and helpful.
Huge, never had to wait for a pump here. Fast service, good coffee, everything you look for in a service station. AA savings as well with the card, which is always nice.
Really horrible guy on the night shift. Always has to say something sarcastic. Went in after night shift to buy a few pies and some drinks, once I had payed he asked if I wanted a bag and I said "yes please", to which his reply was "looks like someone has their arms painted on" and looked away. I just walked out and vow to never go there again. For anyone who wants to know exactly who he is, he's the pale, spindly long haired guy who looks like a mouse.
Mixed opinion.came in during the afternoon around 4pm and was served by a young short girl in the cafe uniform. She was pleasant and was a good coffee.
Came back a couple days later due to my first good experience and I was served by a night staff after 11pm the coffee was horrid I had to stand there for a while to be served. Was unimpressed With that service.
New pumps look good though easy to use
